Gary is extremely helpful. He made himself available day of and on a Saturday. We were worried we had a slow leak in our tire, he investigated thoroughly for nails and a small leak with the soap test. We left feeling confident & safe. Very trustworthy and honorable service

While vacationing on Hilton Head Island we encountered a check engine message in our SUV. We prayed for a reputable mechanic to investigate. We found Gary's and our prayers were answered. Friendly and honest. Turns out it was not an issue that needed a repair. It was a pleasure to meet you Gary. Highly recommended.

I was in a bind today (7/20/24) I had just arrived on Hilton Head Island and noticed that my back tire on the passenger side was going flat. I went to put air in it and it wouldn’t stay inflated. I went to google and noticed every tire shop was closed (at 2pm on a Saturday). I called Gary’s Car Clinic and asked if they had tires and he said he does not sale tires but asked what the problem was. I explained to Gary what was going on and he asked if I could make it to his garage and I said yes. I made it to his garage and he jacked my car up to take a look. My tire was completely blown out. He took the tire off and put on my spare. He said he would hold my tire for me since my car was completely packed and to come get it on Monday when the tire shops open. Gary seriously helped me out today and he was a super kind man. I would trust Gary for any car repairs for my car just for his kindness today. He went out of his way and could have simply said he doesn’t sell tires but he wanted to help me. Thanks Gary!!!!

We had a flat on the day before Thanksgiving. We landed at Gary's clinic. Gary was very courteous and fixed the leak. He told us that the bill was $30, but he wanted cash. We found us with $18 in cash. Gary graciously accepted what we had.A great guy !

We discovered our chevy’s stabilitrack system was acting up at 10:30am on a Saturday. We had a wedding at 3:30pm. We stumbled across Gary’s Car Clinic on Google reviews as he was the only shop open and he didn’t disappoint. Gary had us bring the car in at 11am, he diagnosed the problem as a misfiring spark plug with bad coil and fixed it quickly. We were on our way by noon. This guy was super nice and even pushed back his lunch a half hour to help out two strangers from Ohio. We’d give Gary 10 stars if we could!!!

Had a flat tire on a Saturday while on vacation and called Gary’s at 1:30 pm. He kindly agreed to look at it that afternoon. I put the spare on and arrived about 2:30 pm. Gary was more than accommodating and assessed the flat tire issue, plugged it, checked it over, and installed it back on car. Back on the road by 3:30pm. More than thankful for his immediate and professional service on a “Saturday” and I Highly recommend if needed!Service: Auto tire replacement

Had a great experience at Gary's Car Clinic! I was travelling down from Canada and had serious car issues that needed to be fixed quickly and despite the short notice and timeframe Gary went above and beyond to help me out and identified a secondary car issue that I didn't notice that would have been very dangerous to drive home with. His prices were very reasonable and he was honest and trustworthy. If you're down there and need a mechanic he's your guy!

I called Gary in a pinch. Family was in town from Ohio and our vehicle was having issues. We were leaving to drive 10 hours back home in a couple days.I called Gary on MEMORIAL DAY! He answered the phone, heard the distress in my tone, and told me to bring it in.10 minutes later I’m at his shop. 20 minutes later the problem is solved!!!What an absolute relief to not only have our vehicle back, but to not worry about getting home.Gary was prompt, helpful, and truly cared about our issue. Not a lot of guys out there like him anymore. Thanks so much Gary!

We had car trouble while here on a vacation. He was flexible and allowed us in the day we called, which was so kind given that we needed to drive home the following day. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and answered a lot of questions and gave us a lot of information that we needed without charging us for the time. Highly recommend! Also open on Saturdays.
