We were blown away by our wedding flowers especially my bouquet. They took our ideas wand went above and beyond. We only had a few weeks to plan our wedding from out of state, and I didn’t think I could have such beautiful flowers with such limited time to plan. Our wedding flowers just added so much magic to our whole day. We are so grateful for making our wedding very special and romantic especially in a short time frame and working with our ideas. Flowers by Sue has always been our “go-to” florist and they certainly did not disappoint when providing florals for our wedding. Barbara took very good care of us and made the best suggestions for seasonal flowers that encompassed our color scheme. She also made sure to go the extra mile to help us make decisions on certain types of flowers to use for certain things to ensure all of our flowers were absolutely stunning throughout the night of our wedding. We would not consider using anyone else and would strongly encourage anyone getting married to reach out to Barbara at Flowers By Sue for all floral needs.

I am out of state and have ordered flowers twice to have them delivered to a local address and each time the flower arrangements have been above and beyond what I could have imagined. There is so much care and attention to detail from taking the order, to creating a work of art with the bouquet, to delivering promptly and without error. I highly recommend this company for all of your floral needs in the HHI area!

Our experience with this wedding florist was unfortunately disappointing from start to finish.
Initial Interaction: Our initial call with the florist was promising, but things quickly went downhill when we were switched to another person without proper communication. This lack of coordination set the tone for the rest of our dealings with them.
Communication Issues: Throughout the planning process, communication was a significant issue. There were multiple instances where we felt left in the dark and had to chase them for updates and confirmations.
Rehearsal Dinner Interruption: The florist called the bride and groom (us) during their rehearsal dinner, which was both unprofessional and disruptive. This could have been avoided with better planning and respect for our time.
Bridal Bouquet Mistake: On the wedding day, the bridal bouquet was not what we had ordered. When our planner called to request a replacement, the florist responded with attitude, complaining about having to drive 10 minutes to correct their mistake. This level of service is unacceptable, especially on such an important day.
Overall Experience: Overall, our experience with this florist was far from satisfactory. The combination of poor communication, unprofessionalism, and a lack of accountability means we cannot recommend their services to others. For an event as special as a wedding, it's crucial to have reliable and professional vendors, and unfortunately, this florist did not meet those standards.

Definitely avoid, they cannot fulfill a delivery 8 min away for online order and never contacted with any issues.
Ordered flowers online at their website very early in the AM for my wife's birthday since we are apart. Order was confirmed and order had no trouble allowing me to order for today. I called during the day and phone went to voicemail. I called back later and went to voice mail (maybe second call was just after 5 pm) left a message wondering what happened. It looks like the flowers never got delivered but they were very happy to allow me to order and take my money. The delivery is literally 8 min away from the shop and they never contacted me with any issues. Seriously folks, this sucks, if you cannot complete an order let your customers know.
Paying very high prices one would think you would at least get some kind of contact saying there might be an issue (if there was one).
I would never use them if you really want your flowers delivered as promised. Seems there is a lot of work to appear at the top of search engines but less work to deliver flowers as ordered.

I tried to call and have flowers delivered a quarter mile from their shop for my 5 year wedding anniversary and they told me they were too busy!!!! This was the day before my anniversary so yeah not to happy at all with them! Choose wisely and I guess give them plenty of notice!!!

Flowers by Sue did a beautiful job with the flower arrangements for a bridal shower/luncheon I hosted for my future daughter-in-law. Their suggestions as to types of flowers and table arrangements were perfect. They delivered the flowers to the restaurant and arranged them on the tables. I am very pleased and would use them again. Highly recommend!

As a resident of HHI for 20+ years, I am a little embarrassed by Flowers by Sue. I placed a $$$ order a few days ago and the arrangement looked like something I could thrown together at the last minute. At first, I was offered a full refund and a replacement by the gentleman who answered my call (props to him!) but then one of the girls (who overheard him) chimed in and wanted me to send a pic, etc. I was then offered JUST a replacement (which I didn't want to be disappointed for the 2nd time) Bottom line, if the customer is not happy, make it right! Ps go somewhere else!
