Mark diagnosed the issue while I waited. Handed me a written estimate which was the exact cost of the repair. He ordered a part which came in the next day. Took the car back and repair was done within 2 hours. Far better service and result than the dealer…highly recommendService: General repairs & maintenance

Our jaguar suv was making strange noises after a long drive down from up north, and he promptly returned my phone call and was kind enough to check our car the next morning. He said we would be ok to make it to our next destination for further repairs (which was true) since we made an appointment at the dealer there, and he didn’t charge us anything. We really appreciated the peace of mind he gave us and willingness to help us out. Better service than the local Hilton head jaguar dealer who wouldn’t even eyeball our car because they said they were too busy.Service: General repairs & maintenance

BEWARE!!!! AVOID.Dishonest mechanics, the owner. No written estimate. Only gave verbal estimate for 2 hours and later triple the labor estimate at $105 per hour. His reason "I have never done this before and don't know how long it takes, if it takes me 6 hours, I charge 6 hours"He threatened to hold my car hostage and demand cash payment.A terrible and humiliated experience ever.Take your business elsewhere!!!

Had a bad experience with my vehicle for undercarriage repairs. Marc Stern lacks good customer service skills. Went back a second time since the front end noise was still there? He took in the car again and never gave an estimate and charged me another $1600. Total spent both times was $3400. He was not willing to admit their installation mistakes! I wonder why they did not double check the repairs and loose wheel tie rod issue that I discovered a few months later! Fortunately I had another shop inspect my front end noise which was the front tire tie rod that was loose. They tightened the tie rod. Plus I paid for a front end alignment with a loose tie rod? Marc was unwilling to address this when brought to his attention. Needless to say I learned a very difficult and expensive lesson.Very disappointing experience.Be careful.Service: Steering / Suspension

We drove in with a problem with our Jaguar and left an hour later with it fixed perfectly! Mark is knowledgeable, very friendly and charges a fair price. I highly recommend BPC MotorWorks! Thank you Mark

Mark was rude, unprofessional kept the car to long and charged to much for the work.In the past I have spent thousands of dollars in his shop with out a problem. Now, stay away and tell all your friends with quality sports cars to do the same.I left the car with him while I was in hospital. I have terminal cancer. When I picked it up I was too wasted to inspect the work and assumed everything was done to previous standards. Only after being able to look at the car was I able to check the car.Wires hanging down, spark plug wires a mess and the heater hoses I expected to be removed we’re still there. Over charged for work not done, sloppy work, I don’t even know if he used the all the parts I provided. If you are expecting quality, clean, orderly work that will Win you 1st in show. Stay out of this shop!!!

Mark , the owner of BPC, is an excellent mechanic but, best of all, he is honest. I have been taking my Jaguar and other vehicles to him for years and trust hjs expertise and honest evaluations.Gary

I had been a customer of Mark for a number of years, I brought him a number of different cars both daily drivers and sports cars. His work was not that good but I kept going back and he kept charging me for the same thing. He was a car guy, I liked him, I did not know of an alternative shop. I bought an AC MkIV Cobra. One of 384 built in England. A pretty rare car. I took it to BPC to have it converted to fuel injection or EFI. He did not tell me this was outside of his expertise but refused to call customer service for help. I went to his shop when it was reportedly running. When I approached the car Mark and his assisted had the hood up looking at the engine. He told me it had caught on fire and blamed it on me. He said the oil line to the pressure gauge ruptured spraying oil on the header. There was no sign of oil or smoke nor was the oil line leaking. The flash point of oil is approximately 450 degrees and a spark to ignite it. This would have been at the initial startup after the installation. The engine would have idled long enough for the engine to reach operating temperature. As soon as he told me this I knew he was lying but did not call him out. I wanted my car. The truth is there was a gas leak at the fuel regulator Mark had installed. It sprayed fuel in my presents. The flash point of gasoline is -45 degrees with a spark to ignite. Oil would be difficult to extinguish with extensive damage which was not the case. With this case, and gasoline all that is needed is to do is turn off the engine and cut off the fuel supply. I was not at his shop when the fire occurred. The total bill was approximately $6200. I had to have it towed from his shop. I took him to court and won. He would not release the car until I paid him. When the wrecker showed up for the scheduled appointment he told the driver he was too busy to get the car out of his shop and told him to come back later. That was the end of BPC. The car was delivered to Land Speed Automotive. They immediately found the flaws in Marks poor installation and pretty much redid the system. I sold the car to a gentleman in Switzerland on Bring a Trailer. It was in excellent condition with less than 4000 original miles.
