Don’t be fooled by the website. This company in Hilton Head portrays itself as a furniture company but it is not. We drove to their location and there is no showroom and the address on their suite did not even contain their name. My husband called them to get directions and the man who answered the phone was nasty. Stay away. This is not a real furniture store. It is a guy who calls himself a “designer” but it likely buying furniture online that people can purchase for themselves.

If you are looking for High Quality contemporary furniture, look no further than 1 Contemporary!!! I have been doing business with them since 2006, and they have never failed me. The furniture is stunning and their service has been impeccable ! If I lived near their location, I would visit weekly for aesthetic therapy !!

Anna us great and she kept me updated every step of the process and arranged delivery to California that made the whole purchase process a satisfactory experience. I will recommend and will love to purchase again in near future!

I saw a dining table on line that I wanted and 1 Contemporary Furniture was listed as a local contact for the company. I contacted 1 Contemporary Furniture and Anna responded quickly and provided the information I needed to order the table through them. Once the order was made, she provided me with the tracking number and everything worked just as she said it would. In less than two months from initial contact, the crew delivered and assembled the table at my home. We are very happy with the table and it was easy working with Anna. We are impressed with the quality service that 1 Contemporary Furniture provided and highly recommend them to anyone.

Close to 3 weeks since I purchased a dining table. I understand delays but customer service is down the toilet with 1 contemporary. Gill loses his cool when I ask from my shipping that I paid in full within the 1st phone call. No delay in swiping my card there. Will never purchase with them even if they are last furniture shop standing. No apology and no updates. Racial discrimination I suppose
