I have had a post office box in Hardeeville forty one years. The same po box number in two different buildings and I have been mostly satisfied. But the last year or so not too much. I know the area is growing and new employees come on staff. And we know they've come here from somewhere else because of their attitude and actions. We are having ground packages being threatened returned to sender because the newer employees don't know us and won't take the time to look up our names as to where our mail should be sent if it isn't marked properly by the sender. Most importantly they do not know how to communicate a resolution without being snide and there is one particular woman employed here who has a smile on her face when she is being rude or facetious, like its fun for her to be difficult. I've witnessed this with others in the post office and twice now personally. She doesn't seem to be prejudice just nice nasty to everyone. I am grateful for Craig he always does his best to assist us and I'm sure he does for others as well.

I just stopped in there because I had a question because my mail was taken out of my box and returned and a vacant sticker was out of there stating that I did not live at my residence. I was out of town for nine days due to my father’s death I stopped into the office Hardeeville and II just stopped in there because I had a question because my mail was taken out of my box and returned and a vacant sticker was out of their stating that I did not live at my residence. I was out of town for nine days due to my father’s death I stopped into the office and Hardeeville and I spoke with the postmaster Lisa, and she was highly rude to me as I’m standing there almost tears because my father‘s death certificate was returned back to the state where he passed away from that was supposed to be delivered to me yesterday and she wanted to argue with me when can you please just go look and see if it still here because I had the scan and go For the US mail show mailbox. Lisa was absolutely rude uncompassionate and disrespectful and disrespectfully to anybody’s feelings. I truly think that she is going to customer service. She needs to find a different field or maybe work from home because she has a horrible person especially the way she made me feel after my dad passed away and I just moved here. .

I wanted to let everyone know how bad the Hardeeville post office is, but it appears that everyone already knows. I'm sympathetic to the fact that you don't have employees, but if you are not going to come and pick up our mail please inform us somehow; phone, text, email, anything... We are a business that relies on your service. Sometimes picking up our mail and sometimes is not, is not okay. Now I have the potential to get negative reviews from my customers because this post office is incompetent of doing their jobs. Figure out a notification system for the business you support!! Or have someone there after hours so when we realize you're not coming to pick our mail we can do your job for you and bring our mail down to the post office.

The gentleman at the front is rude and incapable of doing the simplest of task. Our business has been dropping off mail with this post office every single day in a crate for 10 years, and every single time we have gotten the crate back. However, today when I took the mail this “gentleman” seemed put out to even do his job. Instead of emptying the contents of the crate and handing it back to me, he just stared at me and said “what?”. I replied, “I will need my crate back, sir” to which he said that SOMEONE ELSE would have to empty it then, and it’ll take at least 10 minutes. The post office was dead… he was not busy. Nothing was going on. He then quipped “most people just leave the crate”, to which I said “well we don’t”, and then he proceeded to argue with me about it saying “we don’t always give them back, so that’s not true”. I then had to explain to him that our company has been doing this everyday for 10 years and that the post office does give us back OUR crate every time because it is OUR possession. This is when he got really pissy with me and said “well I’ve been here 28 years and have never seen you!”. I then had to explain that I’m not the one who usually brings the mail. In the end he aggressively dumped everything out and handed me the crate. Of course he couldn’t let me just leave though, because on the way out he kept telling me how I was wrong and he was right.
If this man has truly been working there for 28 years, then someone really needs to reevaluate his customer service. Completely unacceptable.

In this day and age, why is a post office closed on Wednesday? And an even better question, how is a post office out of stamps right before the biggest holiday of the year? I was told to come back tomorrow by a worker who really didn't like the fact that I asked her how it was possible for a post office to run out of stamps. I will go back tomorrow, but I have a real job. This week, I will have run to the post office Wed, Thurs, & Friday.

They don’t deliver packages, don’t leave slips then won’t let you have the package without a slip once you go there. Been here 2 months and had 2 misdeliveries and have gotten several other people’s mail.

Not only do they not deliver packages sometimes, they also won't pick them up if it means they have to step a foot outside the delivery truckAnd repeatedly deliver mail to wrong addresses
