“The Starbucks next door had a keypad on their door and I didn’t feel comfortable asking them for the code because they where rude the first time I even walked in the door about the inside being closed... Wanted to use the bathroom first and then get my coffee. Didn’t want to risk the chance they make me buy coffee before getting the code or figure out how they handle that process.
I came over here and was immediately greeted by a friendly clerk. Sat down in their clean bathroom that was easy to find. Did my business and wrote up a review for Starbucks while in there this morning.
The coffee I purchased before I left was pretty good.”
“bathrooms are single occupancy so there can be a line, but we found it to be very clean. even smelled a little of bleach which is honestly nice compared to so many gas station bathrooms. didn't buy anything but the cashier was friendly as well”
“I've got to give these guys 5 stars for holding on to their sanity in the madness.I-95 southbound was a nightmare crawling at a snails pace for hundreds of miles resulting in nearly every decent exit to have businesses overrun with people and automobiles that normally would never have been in this situation.Somehow the Shells lot remained cleanwhere others were trashed. The shelves looked neat when they should have been in disarray.Both the men and women's restroom had continuously waiting lines of 8 to fifteen people each but yet they remained clean.And the guys at the registers remained cheerful...Way to go!!!!!”

“They have a phenomenal Mexican Restaurant inside the Shell (just to the right as you enter gas station main doors). Portions were big and food was great. Wife and I stopped briefly and had the best lunch ever.”

“The theatre is nice with potential. The pandemic and streaming caused a decrease in movie theatre patrons, resulting in struggles to keep afloat. This theatre could be revived and, with some outside the box thinking, become popular once again.”

“Stopped for gas on the way to NC.Prices were the same as most stations when passing through states.Pumps could use a wipe down and the area is deject not too messy but no bathrooms were open when I went so we just left but the inside was what I expected. Easy stop for gas.”

“I just wanted to share the amazing customer service I received from Dee at the Pilot Travel Center located at 15976 Whyte Hardee Blvd., Hardeeville, SC 29927.
After a few hours on the road, my husband and I were running low on patience (as married folks often do after being cooped up together for too long). While he pumped gas, I hopped out to grab a drink and picked up two beautiful salads so we wouldn’t have to worry about cooking or going back out for food later.
That’s when I met Dee—bright, welcoming, and full of positive energy. She called me over with a cheerful “I can take you over here!” and from that moment on, completely turned my day around. She asked how my day was going (the answer was: not great), and then noticed I didn’t have any salad dressing. Without skipping a beat, she asked what kind I liked. I laughed and told her my husband would disown me if I brought him blue cheese, and she laughed right along with me.
What I didn’t realize was that, while chatting with me, Dee had already asked a team member to bring over an assortment of dressings. She was multitasking like a pro while still being fully present with me. I was genuinely touched by her thoughtfulness and impressed by her attentiveness.
Dee brings a rare light to this store—it’s the kind of energy you don’t forget. I truly hope you all know what a gem you have in her. She’s out here saving moods and marriages one kind gesture at a time. If we ever pass through Hardeeville again, I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that I get to see Dee. She’s absolutely wonderful.”
