“I played Hidden Cypress two times and really want to play there many more times. The course really challenges ones short game and getting up and down, from all areas that you can find yourself, it very challenging. The collection areas that your ball can roll into, will require the player to have a few tricks in his/her bag, from flops to bump and little run, hopefully be able to put a little spin on the ball as well.There were 6 sets of tee boxes, if I recall and the longest -Black at a par 72, plays 6946 yards with a 133 slope 73.2 course rating. The fairways are not super wide and most holes have a fair amount of movement, where on occasion a draw off the tee helps. But again, the greens and area surrounding them is where the trouble lies. Beautiful facility and a very helpful staff. Hidden Cypress is located inside the gates of Sun City Hilton Head on Hwy 278.”
