For all the people that keep complaining about your engine, its in the name Davids TRANSMISSIONS. They don't work on engines. And also, the one about the whole engine block falling off is a joke, so don't believe it.

Transmission didn’t last 6 months he Did not want to honor his warranty, gave receipt with one year warranty, I had to take it to someone else because of him making excuses and coming up with reasons he wouldn’t warranty it, when on the warranty it says one year warranty and that’s it, no stipulations or anything and has a horrible attitude is not worth the waste of time or money, he talks a good talk but I’m out of money, so don’t be like me, spend the extra money and get it done right by someone that knows what they are doing and admits when they are wrong and honors their warranty.....just wanted to update, the shop that is doing my transmission now said that he basically used good parts that were left of old transmissions to rebuild mineService: Transmission

Do NOT go to David's Transmission and Auto in Hamer. A couple months ago Chris' trans went out, we took it to him to have him rebuild it. Got a one year warranty. Got it back, all was good until the trans went out AGAIN. Took it back to him and it sat in his yard for a WEEK. That week came to an end and he called Chris telling him it wasn't the transmission. Told him to keep driving it. Last week it completely went out. He kept giving us the run around. Basically didn't want to fix it because he wasn't being paid! He told us he would look at it and IF it had something to do with his work he would fix it. We ended up having to have it towed somewhere else last week. The new place gets it and starts working on it. David used old parts out of an old transmission, he didn't even know what the trans came out of!!! Wasn't even the same year as Chris' truck. Admitted to us that the trans he used was OLD AS HELL. Sad thing is this isn't the first time he has s*** people! All he had to say was "well we can learn from this". He should've learned a long time ago with the first people he screwed over. Like the person who hit a tree because their trans fell out of their car!!

I brought my Car here and got my transmission fixed, drove about 12 miles and then the entire engine block fell out, I swerved off the road and hit a tree which broke my Wife's nose. Before I left I saw his Son laughing, Makoa I believe his name was. BEWARE OF THE QUALITY!

We brought our vehicle there when it was having transmission problems. He originally quoted us a price & said it would be fixed the next day, as we needed it back fast. It ended up taking 4 days and over double the price, not completely his fault but he didn't mention he was cash only. I had to pay a $50 fee to use my card. He fixed the original problem and we were able to get home but created a new problem and we are now AGAIN going to have to have someone take apart the whole thing. We called but he will not return our phone calls. I will be paying for this to be done all over. Buyer beware.
