We arrived at the airport at 6:30 on a Saturday night to find the rental place we used had no cars available to honor our reservation- zero- and didn't seem to care honestly. Across the room was Thrifty's desk and while standing in the middle between the two trying to figure out what to do, we were approached by a gentleman who cleaned cars for Thrifty. He asked if there was anything he could do and when I explained our situation, he said he would see what they could do to help. He went and got James who jumped into service. Not only did he have a car available, he was able to match the vehicle we requested- a Jeep- and price matched our original reservation. He truly saved our vacation week!!! We couldn't be more grateful to those gentleman and to Thrifty!! Will definitely book through them next time we are in town!

Highly recommended. Fantastic rental agency. They got well maintained quality clean cars. Prices are unbeatable in the region. Staff is very kind and accommodating. The rental experience here is flawless and so mooth. This is always my go to place for a quality time.

Directions are wrong to the physical location. That's pretty important for a rental car service. Ridiculous.

NOT at the airport!!! No shuttle & no answer when called. Took an Uber to the pickup location to find it closed at 4pm, had to take another Uber back to airport!
DON’T WASTE YOUR TOME & money!!!!!
Go with another rental company. 800 customer service not picking up after 20 minutes on hold.

I know it's the South, but discriminating against Latinx people is not cool (it was a tall, white man). The only reason they are getting a second star is Jermaine who was working on Friday.

I have a reservation for 6/19/24 at the Greenville, SC airport for 10:00pm. I was waiting for a shuttle at the baggage claim area as the location is offsite. There is no shuttle running, they don't answer the courtesy phone, they don't answer their local phone and when I got lift over to the location, they were closed at 10:20pm. This is a bad way to run a business especially since Hertz owns them and the Hertz people at the airport could not help at all.

Sunday May 26th 335pm I called to check up on a reservation we had for my brother and I. The plane was to land at 1045pm giving us just enough time to get the rental Before they close at midnight.
I was informed that they would be closing at 4pm he was the only person on shift and his shift ends at 4.
I asked if he was planning on letting those of us traveling know this considering we had reservations already booked and was counting on this car at that hour.
He replied that was a manager's job and he just works there. When I asked him what we were supposed to do at this late of a notice, considering they weren't going to tell us. He replied it's not my problem.
Keep in mind this is a holiday weekend so cars are hard to come by at this point, and most places are closed on Monday.
I've never seen this level of disrespect and unprofessionalism from a business.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!
All this and we were headed to visit our elderly grandparents who are suffering health problems. Thanks thrifty...

It's off the airport. Just call ahead of time. I booked Sedan but got a truck which was available. Everything else is good. Service people were nice.

I booked my Thrifty car rental for any available car, through Delta travel extras after booking my flight. I added the offered rental car protector for $44 total for 4 days (which I advise you to do if offered beforehand because insurance was offered on site by Thrifty, but for a higher price. I declined as I already had the car rental protector). We arrived at GSP and within 15 minutes of calling for the Thrifty shuttle, they picked us up and took us to their office to pickup our car which was only a 5 minute or less ride. Pickup was a breeze after showing my ID, credit card used, and booking number. We were given a 2022 RAM 1500 that was clean and in great condition. **When choosing any available car, be prepared that you may not be getting a sedan, you can very well receive a RAM 1500. The employee who signed out the car to me did ask if that was ok though, which I appreciated as not everyone is comfortable driving a pick-up.** When ready to drop off, we drove to the office, turned in the keys, and were taken back to the airport immediately after. We returned in the same condition as picked up and were not charged extra. I would book with this rental service again if needed!
My only reason for giving 4 stars is because of the unclear pickup instructions. I received an e-mail with very vague GSP arrival instructions, which only stated to go to baggage claim and call a phone number using the courtesy phone. Yes, you go to baggage claim, but then you can just call the shuttle number from your cell, tell them your name and how many people are with you. They will direct you to exit the baggage claim area following the signs for car rental shuttles. You then wait at the furthest car rental shuttle area which is green. It is not a far walk from the baggage claim exit doors, and in a few minutes the shuttle should arrive.

It's important to know that the pick up is outside of the airport. You need to call for the van. Other than that, everything was pretty streamlined. I received great service with a quick pickup and a fast rental experience.
There is an option to drop off at Hertz which may not have been previously available.

Easy reservation, and great staff! Set me up with what I needed, the process was simple and smooth, and the vehicle was clean and ready to go. I will definitely be using them in the futre!
