Scheduled an appointment by calling the number given online, was sent to a central call center. Appointment made for 1:30pm. Arrived at 1:20, filled out pre-screening on the tablet given to me. Waited until 1:45pm and was then told "the doctor is at lunch, he will be back in 15 minutes." Not sure why they let me schedule an appt for 1:30? Poor communication and customer service, do not recommend.

Anna is terrific!! My experience was great! I recommend this location in Greer. They were professional and I will be using them from now on. The manager Laura was attentive and also gave me great service and her professionalism is top notch! Come here for all your glasses needs!!

The service here was quick and easy. Staci was super helpful and had my glasses done in 15 minutes. The price is great and they offer payment plans.

I needed to get a quick eye appointment before heading back to school (as I couldn't get an appointment with my usual eye Dr. in time). The eye exam was much faster than what I was used to. It seemed only like the Dr. was trying to get my new contract prescription but not check on the health of my eyes. (It also was more expensive than they advertise!) I got my prescription and ordered a month's supply of contacts to be delivered to me at school. I planned to order the remaining contacts at Costco or 1-800-Contacts since it would be cheaper but I wanted to get some new contacts ASAP. I also asked for a few extra "samples" and they refused, despite the delay in me getting contacts.Approximately two weeks went by and I still did not have my contacts, nor had they been shipped. I called customer service and they told me that they don't sell my contacts in that quantity which is why they didn't yet ship. At this time I told them to cancel my order and refund me, I would buy them elsewhere. The customer service man was nice and told me he would contact the store for me and issue a refund. However, months later I never got the refund, nor did I get the contacts. Needless to say, don't go here!

My husband and I always brag about this location and the amazing service we have always received. This morning I walked into the Greer location afraid of how much my "broken" glasses would be. As soon as I walked in I was met by Laura. She was EXTREMELY helpful and when she was done I asked how much I owed and she said not a thing. That's the Stanton Way!!! Can't say enough!!

Made an appointment for 11:45 AM. I was there way longer than I anticipated. Walk-ins seemed to prioritize. After the fast roll yourself to the left to each machine, I was asked to comeback after lunch because the doctor goes to lunch from 1-2 PM. I was on time for my appointment. I was then told I could do the telemedicine via video. I am not fond of these new Jetson’s era techniques when dealing with my health. I declined. I should have taken that as my cue, but I gave benefit of doubt.I returned and still felt as if I made the wrong decision choosing Stanton. I was offered to pick out my frame before seeing Dr. Bowers, I declined. I looked at frames when I was dismissed for their lunch break. I did see several eyeglasses I liked but what I endured during this visit didn’t deserve any additional dividends from my finances. I’m business savvy on the snake car salesman tactics. The blueprint of sales never changes just the characters.I don’t spend my hard working money where I’m not fully welcomed. The joker himself wears a plastered smile.As I discussed my concerns with Dr. Bowers I didn’t feel confident my concerns were taken into consideration. The eye drop solutions didn’t seem effective as this wasn’t my first time having this procedure done. For all I know it could have been just Visine. No shaded eyewear given afterwards. I was offered something before I declined to pick out a pair of frames. Any other time at a different location I was automatically given a pair.I know technology has changed and unfortunately humans have adopted to being ro(bots) and AI’s.In conclusion Dr. Bowers matched my natural sense of humor, but didn’t match my confidence in the purpose of my eye exam visit. I will be seeking a second opinion and someone who will look at my past eye exams to determine the correct diagnosis of the condition of my eyesight. The low ratings and BBB complaints are accurate.Update 12/4/23After my review I did receive a call from Supervisor Laura. The day of my visit she was not present. After hearing my grievance with empathy and understanding on my part of the consumer she handled the matter accordingly.I visited the establishment today to speak with her of my final outcome. I will just say she correct the mistakes as I expected after our initial conversation.Thank you Laura for not dismissing my grievance. In our todays of technology, humanity has lost its art. I’m happy to say, Laura gave me hope that it still exists and for that I am appreciative.My time can’t be replaced but it wasn’t wasted as there was a lesson to be learned from my initial visit. Thanks to Supervisor Laura for standing by the integrity and customer care of the Stanton Brand.

I’ve been struggling to see at night for sometime now and on a whim decided to go into Stanton Optical. They were able to give me an eye exam right when I walked through the door. Staci was helpful with picking out my new glasses for driving at night. She had my glasses ready in 10 minutes! I was in and out in an hour! They were super helpful and the process was so much easier than I was expecting.

I went to get new glasses and I have been wearing glasses for 4 years. Now it’s time for new ones. The First Lady says my vision has gotten worse but slightly but then the next lady says I have 20/20? If that’s the case why give me glasses 4 years ago! I do not trust their process and still can’t see any better! Thanks for wasting my time!

AMAZING customer service by Staci and Anna. I brought my whole family in because we needed it and had a bit of a budget but they worked with me and got us the stuff we needed for the price we could afford! Will definitely recommend friends and family to come to this location for SURE!

I visited Staton Optical in October 2022 and again this year for a yearly check-up. Unfortunately, my experiences both times left much to be desired.On my first visit, I was overcharged for my glasses, and when I decided not to make a purchase, the staff’s demeanor turned unpleasant. This happened not only to me but also to my partner. It’s frustrating to see them charging exorbitant prices for glasses that can be bought online with prescription lenses for a fraction of the cost.What’s worse, the staff’s attitude dramatically changed when I mentioned the possibility of getting a BOGO deal from an online glasses company. It felt like they were more interested in making a sale, possibly for a commission, rather than genuinely caring about my eye health.Additionally, I’m concerned about the accuracy of the prescriptions I received. The equipment had glare and didn’t appear to be properly maintained. I also noticed a lack of sanitation measures at the eye examination stations, which is concerning, especially given the ongoing health concerns.In summary, my experiences at Staton Optical were disappointing. I’ve encountered overcharging, high-pressure sales tactics, and a lack of sanitary precautions. These issues have led me to question the integrity of this establishment, and I won’t be returning for future eyecare needs.
