Talked to the sweetest deli worker. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. Wish I had gotten her name, so publix would give her praise. It's so rare for someone to be so helpful now a days.

This Publix, particularly the sub/chicken bar, has become a very unpleasant experience. And why did they stop making tenders in the evening? Very inconsiderate for the dinner crowd. Didn’t want to have to post a public review, but we’ve contacted management multiple times privately over the past year about our experiences and the service we’ve received, and nothing has improved, so it doesn’t seem those conversations meant much and/or were taken seriously.

They no longer do the ten foot ten seconds rule for greeting customers or telling them they will be with them in a moment. Suggestive and companion selling is no longer a thing they do. The one on Woodruff and Butler is also like that. In the last 5-6 years, they have gone downhill.

Check your online orders before leaving. We don’t have a Publix near us and drive almost 25 mins one way to get here. I got home to find I got two orders of mozzarella cheese. One charged for mozzarella cheese, and the other for my Boars Head Pepper Jack yet mozzarella cheese was in that bag too. Very frustrating. The most recent order’s slicing request was done correct, but many times I specify very thin, paper thin, or have put shaved and got thick slices. I don’t get it. I can tell one order of salami was grabbed from the pre-cut area because we know how thick it is and we don’t like that. Other than that, it’s exactly what you would expect from any Publix.

I’ve never had a negative experience in Publix until this store. My daughter hadn’t been feeling well and wasn’t eating much but she asked for a Publix sub so we went to this location as it was closest to the hotel. Alex was working the sub counter and had a horrible attitude. He was throwing things around, pushed the trash can into the wall, slammed the meat drawer. I almost walked off and said forget it, but I really wanted my daughter to eat something. All she wanted on her sub was meat and cheese and he acted like it was the biggest inconvenience. I tried to be extra nice to him, thinking that would make him realize that he’s being an a** for no reason. He didn’t even say thank you when he handed us the sub.
I spoke to the manager and he apologized (hence the 2 stars instead of 1) but the damage had been done. Publix is more expensive than other grocery stores but people come here because of the cleanliness, freshness of the food, and customer service. When 1 of those is missing, it’s no longer worth the price.

Always clean, I usually go for lunch and hit the deli - respectful, quick, good selection & suggestions, no complaints.

Old lady in the bakery is SO RUDE! I will never order from the bakery again. Acts like I’m an inconvenience for just picking up a cake. Rolling eyes and huffing at me. She should be fired with her horrible attitude.
