Only one person working at pick up caused long wait. No one working at desk at drop off. Gota a flat tire that cost me $98 for them to call AAA. Left a message to contact me, been over a week with no call.

I was less than satisfied with this GSP AIRPORT location. There were so many stipulations put in front of me once I got there.That was not expressed online when I booked the rental.
The price was definitely affordable. It was only around $150 for 2 1/2 days.
But by the time I finished the transaction, they had held about $1800 on my methods payment. Full payment plus security deposit was about $400. They took my bank card, held the money, and then told me they couldn't use that card. I used another card and the same thing happened. She instructed me to try the card again and it took another $400. So far, I am in about $1200. By now I am pissed off. THE YOUNG LADY BEHIND THE COUNTER WAS SO VERY NONCHALANT ABOUT MY MONEY AND MY PROCESS. Her customer service skills me to be upgraded. I had to go stand outside in the parking garage to gather myself and think of what I needed to do to make this happen. It was a Sunday and after 5 o'clock. So they were my only option since my car was not working. Leaving without a rental was not an option. And I think they realized that.
I had to use my bank account to make an instant credit card payment for them to be able to use my credit card and the transaction finally went through. Another $400... when I went back in, I had a different agent, and she was very courteous and explained the situation. She was apologetic and processed my rental without flaw. That still does not make me want to go back. It actually made me want to sell the stock that I have Hertz.

Flew into Greenville SC. The signs for rental cars on site did not include "Thrifty", so we called - repeatedly- for a shuttle. Turns out Thrifty shares an on-site office with Hertz. We waited on hold for a looooong time when had we known we could have just crossed the street to their office and been there in 2 minutes. Staff was polite. Car was clean and had a full tank. Price was reasonable. Easy pick-up and return.
