Simple Act of Kindness! I can't say enough about the employees at this DG! I was in the store Wednesday night 11/08 and used the self checkout. I requested $40 cash back. I had such a crazy/busy day that I completely forgot to take my cash from the dispenser. I drove away and while almost home realized what I did. I drove frantically back to the store in hopes that it was still in the dispenser. It was gone. I mentioned to the young gal what happened and she was gracious to take my name & phone number. I figured I had blessed someone that needed $40 more than me. This store representative called me as I pulled into my driveway to tell me an honest shopper had found my money and turned it in! Of course I was thrilled. I mentioned to the store clerk that the next day was my birthday and what a gift to have this returned. I went back tonight to pick up my money and low and behold, they had put the money in an envelope inside a birthday card! Thank you truly for such wonderful customer service and for the birthday wishes!

Stopped to get candy ..31 empty boxes of candy just at the cashier counter....doesn't anyone know how to do their job...?

Very poor management. Staff doesn't like care if they are Open or not. Always an excuse for something and not a valid reason.

In the last couple of months the store has gone down hill. Empty shelves, messy shelves and teenage employees yelling/shouting at each other - not in a mean way but just not something you do while at work, especially when customers are in store.

Place not crowded but it took an inordinate amount of time to get our meals. "TOP SIRLOIN" was tough to cut and almost impossible to chew. Manager replaced with another menu item ..... but then another "wait on the kitchen" experience.We are new to SC. We like Shortfields so I hope this is a "one-off" event.

obviously face masks are NOT required and its 6feet of social distancing not 6inches... employees do not enforce this at this location

Awesome clean and stocked store with really nice and helpful employees to help you even though your coupons online. I go out of my way to visit this store, its definitely on my top 5 of favorite's. I'll be sure to let corporate know as well. We all should take time for the positive things in this messed up world.
