I got one of my dogs and a cat from them, but that's not why I am writing this. There was a little cat my family found that was emaciated. No vet could see her early at all. They saw her earlier than any vet could. She had to be euthanized but they were gentle as possible, and let me be there as much as possible during the process. She was treated with respect and love. I am so grateful for our humane society.

Great event with SilverScale Exotics. Interesting to see (and hold if desired) Iguanas, Bearded Dragons, Ball Pythons, Chameleons, Leopard Geckos, Crested Geckos, Agamas, and More!
Loved getting to see and cuddle with puppies that are available for adoption.

They put out a request for Dog food. They were many dogs over normal capacity so I stopped in to donate. Nice friendly staff. They had puppies in the office area. Be still my heart! If looking for a new best friend please go check them out.

About a year ago, I found myself with 3 puppies from a stray I had taken in & not enough time to properly take care of them. At 3 months I had to take the puppies here, I wanted to keep them all, but not feasible. The staff here were so kind, reassuring me they would get adopted quickly , by being young. I cried the whole time, not wanting to give them up. Someone even brought me kleenex. I can't say enough of how appreciative I am.

Greenwood Humane Society is fantastic. They are friendly, helpful, and supportive to their patrons. I have adopted 3 dogs from this organization and these fur babies are life-changing. They really make a difference in people's lives and the pet's lives.

I have supported HSOG for years! They work so very hard for their animals. My 2 current cats are from HSOG, and they made adoption so easy.

I can't say enough good things about the staff at Greenwood Humane society. Jay was unbelievably helpful with a stray I brought in. She set me up with information and signed me up as a foster so I could care for this sweet baby until she's adopted.We are truly blessed to have this service in Greenwood.

I lead this off that years ago(10 or 15 years ago) we took one of my family elderly dogs to this humane society to be put down and they did it no questions asked and no judgement. We went to put my elderly dog who been having heath issues to be put sleep but when we got there we was told we needed a appointment, something that was never said on the website by the way. On top of that I never felt so judged in my life by the staff there. I been taking wonderful care for my dog for 16 years now and I can tell he getting close to end of his life and I don't need anyone to judge me on the decision especially when this decision was really hard for me to make. I will never go to this humane society again. I will only deal with vets now on.

Very friendly staff, the building was very clean, it smelled more like a hospital than the humain society we met a adorable little chihuahua "Leela" we are waiting to hear from them.

Took Myles back to visit and drop off donations. They treated him like a rock star. Very friendly group of people. We appreciate what you do everyday.
