We went inside this disheveled store to buy some tassel trim and the woman (l am assuming the owner) was a hateful witch. She honestly treated us as she didn’t want us as customers, so we stopped at Burger & Shake before we took our business to Carolina Fabric where we were treated as valued customers and could not wait to spend our money with them on quality tassel trim. Today was the first and last time we will ever set foot inside this dump called West End fabrics.

The women working at the shop were indeed Extremely rude. There are no prices or fabric content labels on the fabric. That makes it difficult. To top it off there was animal feces in the middle of one of the isles.

A huge fabric store with fabric on rolls. I needed fabric to make curtains for a room in my house. There were so many beautiful choices I had trouble deciding. The price of most of the material I liked was from$21 a yard to $31 a yard. The material is top quality. They also have fabulous and unusual trims, ribbons and finishing touches for whatever you are making.

Visited on a Sat late morning and will not be back. If their competitors Carolina Fabrics would get with the program and at least be open 1/2"day on a weekend for the people that work M-F.. im sure noone would come here unless they HAVE TO. It was myself and 3 other customers & 2 workers.Was not greeted by the person at the counter, was in the store over 1 hour noone came to me to see if I needed any help or what I was looking for.The owner walked by me 2x with another customer couldn't be bothered to say hello, need anything let me know.30 mins in I said to another customer who was looking at samples where I was and I asked her, has anyone asked u if u need help she said no. Shortly after that a woman stopped where I was and said have you been here long, I said yes about 40 mins , she then said did you see where the guy who was here (another customer) went I said NO, I'm not paying attention to other customers..just couldn't believe it .That aside things you should know,Most importantly.. most of their rolls of fabric seem to be overstock or culled purchases. There is NO maker identifying , that means you don't know who manufactured the fabric, what the fabric is made from, if the fabric was chemically treated or not, how heavy the fabric is or rub durability. Since you don't know anything about the fabric if you need more down the road you are out of luckWith a lack of manufacture info, at least have some information posted for those who do not know anything about thevapplications forvdecorator weight fabric vs upholstery weight fabric.. 1 of the patrons in there had asked about a fabric for her husband's chair she wanted to cover and the 1 lady is showing her thin decorator weight fabric.. if someone is telling you this is a piece that will get MORE than occasional use you don't recommend thin decorator weight fabricThere is no lighting over the sample area so u need to take samples to the door to get a idea of the true color.The trim area is a MESS.There is small # of sample books that are not recentFor some reason there was a scaffold in the middle of the entry filled with junkAnyone allergic to Cats, they have a cat free roaming the premises so undoubtedly there is hair

I left 2 sofa pillows at West End to have them made smaller, they had been made by West End but were too large. I waited for more than 2 months and heard nothing back from the salesperson. I finally spoke with her and she claimed to know nothing about the pillows.Now she will not answer me when I call, I’m thinking she sold my pillows because they are the perfect Clemson orange! I am very disappointed with her and her mishandling of my merchandise. She seems somewhat flighty but should be able to manage better.

I was so thrilled when I arrived early to my hair appointment and spotted a fabric store in the corner. I all but run in the door thrilled to see what I could find. There are tons of options to chose from but the attitude that met me at the door left a terrible taste in my mouth. I was holding an empty coffee cup and one of those empty treat bags from starbucks looking for a trash can. Before I could get out a “hello” the lady upfront met me with a “you can’t bring that in here”. This is a place of business and I think it’s wonderful that you have policies in place to protect your product but greetings first. It was about 10:45am, Good morning or hey welcome in or something. I am not the best at hiding my facial expressions so I’m sure she saw the immediate change. I will have to find my fabric elsewhere, no thanks!
