Great selection of dresses however customer service is truly lacking. I purchased a dress for a black tie event with the promise of alternations being completed before days before the event. In the day it was supposed to be completed I never received any calls and decided to make a call the day after. When I called, the lady placed me on hold and told me that she would call back. I never received a call so the following day (the afternoon before my event) I went to pick up my dress. My dress that I spent almost a grand on did not have ANY of the alterations done that they have promised. I wished I would've known beforehand so I could've taken my business to a more professional establishment. Don't shop here unless you have PLENTY of time before your event to make sure alternations are done completely.

DO NOT RENT a TUXEDO HERE! My son rented a $245 tuxedo. (it was expensive but a nice suit). I even gave a tip to Lisa the gal that helped fit him. She was helpful. When he came to pick up (I was not with him) apparently there was a big issue with another customer - a mom who was asking for another white dinner jacket because the one she ordered was see through. I am not sure exactly but this is what my son said. On the event night he went to put on the shirt and there was a big rip! I saw him take it off the hanger. The only thing the "manager" could say was "I cant say...,maybe it was..... us maybe it was you."I swear if she had said I'd give you $10 off your next tuxedo I would have said THANK YOU. Just trust me. There are plenty of places with nice tuxedos. Do NOT go here!!!

A MUST READ! This is a Buyer Beware Review for all parents of a MINOR who has purchased or may purchase items on their own at Dimitra Designs.My 16 yr old daughter went shopping for her first prom dress 3/7/23. After hours of an unsuccessful search she entered Dimitra Designs to take a look. From the beginning, my daughter told the sales representative the dress would have to be approved "in person" for the event later this month. She did find a dress. The sales representative suggested earrings to purchase with the dress and brought out 3 pairs of shoes to try on. My daughter was told, if she picked one of the pairs of shoes, they would be free. She selected a pair of earrings and a free pair of shoes thinking her sales representative was just being so nice! The price was more than my daughter had in her account and would be unable to pay in full for the items. She was not offered the $50 policy, to hold the items for 3 days and felt that she needed to put $ down and not miss getting a dress she finally found. At this time she was presented a contract to sign which states: no refunds, no exchanges, no exceptions. To proceed further the sales representative coerced my child, a MINOR, to enter into a contract, without parental knowledge or consent, to purchase a dress knowing it had potential not to be approved. My daughter left with a "free" pair of shoes, copy of the invoice/contract of $ put down/balance owed but without a dress or earrings. Notified of the ill advised purchase, I directed my daughter to get the money returned to her, return the "free shoes", there was no exchange of purchased merchandise and I did not consent to her signing a contract knowing she is a MINOR. On 3/8 she went back to Dimitra Designs: unsuccessful due to an employee citing the signed contract. On 3/9 I spoke for some time with the customer service representative at the store. Explaining, the contractual purchase was without my consent and in a manner extremely predatory in nature by the sales representative, preying on an excitedly emotional MINOR. I was informed it was common practice that MINORS come in frequently without a consenting adult and make purchases. ALARMING! Examining the shoes so "freely" given we come find out the shoes were USED! No explanation mattered nor that I offered to pay for the $50 hold fee, not offered to my daughter. I insisted the dress, a stock dress - not special ordered, and the earrings had never left the store: still no return of the money. The owner was contacted: unwilling to compromise to my offer, made an offer I was couldn't accept and said the contract is in place for a reason. I left, researched and made a call to legal council to ensure I understood the information found correctly. Laws are in place here in SC to protect MINORS for such events as this.South Carolina law states that a child is a person under the age of 18. In general, a child cannot enter into a contract or other legally binding agreement. scstatehouse.gov/code/t6…. Link for Section 65-5-310.SO, though my daughter wanted to buy the dress and earrings and though there were predatory sales tactics used on a MINOR coercing her to enter into a contract to complete the sale, the law prohibits such predatory practices. A MINOR cannot be liable from entering into a legally binding contract.No matter what rebuttal to this review may be, the fact of the matter: it is irrefutable that Dimitra Designs has violated Section 65-5-310 by coercing my child to enter in a contract as a MINOR!The only recommendation I can give for Dimitra Designs is this:If you as a parent/guardian of a MINOR, have had that MINOR purchase merchandise from this business without your knowledge and consent, been denied a refund or exchange - I strongly recommend you present your contract along with a copy of Section 65-5-130 and proceed with a request of that which was previously denied. The contract is VOID - NO EXCEPTIONS!

I had a great experience last month. I live out of town and called in my measurements. They did a great job getting it perfect. Erin helped us during the fitting, adjustments and return. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

I had the best experience working with Cheryl. I had gone to two other bridal stores and wasn't having much luck. Since my mother and sister were coming for a short visit - I decided to go by myself to narrow down the selection. I showed Cheryl the style I wanted and the first dress she chose ended up being the one! When returning with my mom and sister it was a wonderful experience. Cheryl is perfect if you're having a hard time dressing for your body type. She's was so detailed oriented even her veil selections were dead on. Thank you - thank you for being the breath of fresh air with the madness of wedding planning. Above and beyond customer service!

JASMINE is simply amazing. She helped me find the dress of my dreams. Not only that but she gave me a lot of confidence. The entire time she was encouraging and so caring. She took the time to ask what the venue looked like, wanted to see pictures of my Pinterest dress ideas, and really took her time yall. I felt like she helped me regain my self image after having 3 kids. This place has it all. Amazing experience today. Thank you guys!!!!!!!

I literally cannot believe this place is still in business, there are so many places that are much more worth a visit- like literally ANYPLACE! Walmart is a better option than this place!!

This is my experience : I Called Dimitria Design Friday morning at 11am for a prom dress for the next day in Boston. Natalie was beyond incredible. The dress we had ordered online was not going to be arriving on time since it was at the designer store, so Natalie send me photos of potential dresses she had in the store that could make our daughter happy and have it shipped overnight. She was kind, supportive, patient, fun, just purely incredible in every way! They ended up packing the dress and sending it overnight to Boston. My gratitude is infinite for this incredible unfoldment ..... Thank you from the bottom of my heart to make this special day very special for our daughter

Seriously?? Your business is difficult to access with "handicap entrance only" and then you lock the doors early? Sign shows Sat 10-6, people inside and the sales people refuses to unlock door? Can't believe you would pass up business. We won't try again, but good luck.

Nice location and set up. The women here are gorgeous and the guy who helped with my fitting was super helpful. Also, they are alot cheaper than mens warehouse plus the cuts are just as slim.

Best place I have ever been to rent/buy a tux. They had exactly what I needed. Hope, the saleswoman, was very helpful.
