I started taking my two cats to this vet because it is an all cat clinic. From the start, there is not much, or any, customer service and each visit feels extremely rushed. During the examination, the vet only measures their weight and listens to their heart- nothing else. It feels like I have to slow down the vet to ask any questions and even pull out medication instructions from her.
My biggest concern with this clinic is that I showed her a video of my cat having an asthma attack and she said it was fine, just a hairball. After doing my own research, I had to request an X-Ray which then showed that he did in fact have asthma. Overall, I do not recommend this clinic if you want a personalized and thorough examination for your cat. In addition, this clinic has higher prices than my previous vet and they apply a surcharge for using a credit card.

I always have a good experience at the Cat Clinic. I get to ride in the car and see the nice Doctor and clinical staff. I smelled an orange cat. It smelled me back. They said I am not fat. They make nice noises to me, but I don't think they are really talking. I like them. Would give 5 toe beans but I only have 4.

I, Tyler, love the Cat Clinic. They took such good care of me. My Mommy and Daddy really like them too. Dr. Anderson and all the girls really know how to take care of us. I was really sick when I first went. Now I'm a 5 month old sleek, fast terror!

Hurried and unconcerned care led to a misdiagnosis and a traumatic last day of life for my precious kitty.
Both of my cats had been in their care since they were kittens, almost 12 years. Last year when I brought them for their annual visit I expressed concern about one cat’s weight loss. This year I had a list of very alarming symptoms ready to share with Dr. Anderson during her appointment, and called ahead to make sure there would be ample time in the appointment to discuss those things. Other than doing a blood test, she was very dismissive of my concern, even though she was down two pounds from the previous year. Dr. Anderson suggested that I change her diet to larger pieces of food.
When the blood test results came back clear, Dr. Anderson told me “she might just be getting old” and wanted to rush me off the phone. She didn’t offer any other options to see what might be causing her symptoms. I called back a couple weeks later when her symptoms worsened. I was told to try allergy medicine or Pepsid, which I did. I specifically asked if there was anything else that could be wrong with her, and Dr. Anderson again said “she’s probably just getting old.”
After a couple days of my kitty not being able to even keep wet food down, it was time to try a new vet. That vet listened to my description of her symptoms and was immediately concerned. She did an x-ray and ultrasound and found that my kitty had multiple tumors and a leak in her lung. The lining of her stomach was three times bigger than it should have been.
She was not “just getting old.” She was dying a slow death and suffering every day. It is not Dr. Anderson’s fault that my kitty had a leak in her lung or that she had tumors - but if she had listened to me or taken better care to help her, we could have shortened her suffering and possibly even been better prepared to say goodbye to her.
The Cat Clinic is a good place to go when your cats are healthy. It’s calm and quiet in the office, and Dr. Anderson will tell you that you’re doing a great job. But if you need anything diagnosed or have concerns that something is wrong - go somewhere else. Read the other negative reviews that have been posted. I’m not the first pet owner with this experience at The Cat Clinic.

I love the cat clinic so much and i recommend every cat owner I know to bring their babies here. My relationship with the Cat Clinic began about 4 years ago when I brought my previous cat, Annie, in for a visit. The staff was so knowledgable and kind. A few years later, Annie was unfortunately brought in for a sick visit offered just hours after I called. The staff was so comforting to me as they were treating my cat. After having some more concerns later in the day, they allowed me to bring her back after I had another concern free of charge. Unfortunately after taking her to get an ultrasound at a different vet (the Cat Clinic cannot do that) I had to unexpectedly put my 5 year old cat down. I called the cat clinic to tell them the news and days later I received a hand written note in the mail a few days later signed by their staff. The compassion and kindness that they offer is unmatched.
This week I brought my new kitten in for a spay. Because my previous trip to the vet ended so sadly, I had a lot of anxiety leaving my kitten even though the procedure is so routine. The staff was so kind to me as I dropped her off and they texted me throughout the day updating me on her. When I picked her up they let me ask as many questions as I wanted and answered with so much knowledge and compassion. I also feel that the staff is extra knowledgable on cats because that's their specialty. I love that the whole staff seems to love my special furry friends almost as much as I do. As long as I live in Greenville and have cats, I will be taking them to the Cat Clinic! They have sweet cats that hang out in the waiting room and they always have sweet babies available for adoption. This place is the best.

This is a great office. My cat used to fully freak out at the normal vet’s office that catered to all animals, and she does so much better at the cats only clinic. Everyone is really helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient at this practice. Absolutely recommend!

My family is new to the area and no established vet. We visited the cat clinic when our 9 year old cat started experiencing symptoms we didn’t understand. To later find out he is diabetic. The clinic has been helpful and guided us well. We’ve been very happy with their service.
