The Sunset Inn is your typical motel. It's a one-level building with each room's entrance leading directly to the parking lot. The rooms are ... well rooms, nothing special. The room I was in had two double beds. The floor and walls were a drab grey color. The room also had a wall-mounted T.V., a microwave, a coffee maker, and a desk and chair setup, but no artwork on the walls. The bathroom was small but served its purpose. Recommended use: Good for someone who isn't wanting anything special. Best for the traveler that may be looking for a one-night stay for some relaxation and sleep. If you're looking for a hotel/motel for a vacation stay, I would not recommend the Sunset Inn. As I said, it's best for one or maybe two nights to get some rest and a shower.Safety: The area seemed quiet and it sits on a main road. The entire area is well-lit.Food & drinks: There is an I-Hop that sits directly in front of it, within walking distance for sure. It sits adjacent to the parking lot of the motel.

Over priced for the size of the rooms. My room also had a stale moldy smell to it. No exaggeration the rooms are half the size of a normal room.

They had Bedbugs in room 211, went to room 214 and check the beds one of the beds look like it had what seems to be vomit on the sheets and bed was remade. They sent me to room 210 and it had roaches and bed bugs. Lady at the front had a rude attitude about it and acted as if she didn't want to give me my money back. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Dhec needs to shut it down honestly. That's the nicest thing I could say about it.

Not the place to go if you're looking for fancy but after all it IS considered a "cheap" hotel & when all you need is a clean place to lay your head & get a shower, it works out just fine!

It's a good place to stay. Clean rooms, cold air cable tv and all the other things you get/need in a hotel.

Housekeeping did not come unless manager was confronted. Billboard falsely said free hot breakfast....there was no breakfast. Manager said stay was $70/night. After I left the website said $59/night. Where did the $11 go? I regret my stay.

Too highpriced the guy had no queen sized beds and the twin beds were just as expensive the guy wouldn't even cut me a break when I seen how dirty the sheets were

This is my second time staying for a night, the only reason I didn't get to a review last time is due too enjoying my stay so much it slipped my mind. Best 77$ I have spent on any hotel from west virginia to myrtle beach to here. Staff is very friendly, the manager is very polite and funny. Room was clean, nice size for the price, love the full bathtub after working outside all day. I will gladly be coming here every time I need a hotel room.

Honestly what motel in Greenville isn’t going to have a few drug dealers? The manager was funny as hell and fun to talk to. Stayed for a week and didn’t mind the place at all. Would definitely recommend talking to the manager for a minute to have a fun conversation.
