So. Pleasantburg has to be the best in our area. Friendly service and knowledgeable staff. The landscaping plants I've bought from SPN have been the most successful. Thank South Pleasantburg Nursery for everything you do.

I've bought plenty of things from them over the years but a week ago a gentleman with gray hair glasses, and a beard behind the register was rude to me. I was asking about filtration ideas for his bird baths. After my second question, he looked impatiently over my shoulder at the person behind me, and said, can I help you, he totally ignored me, I looked behind me and then back to him - not even any eye contact. As if if to say 'we're done here' Rude. I simply left. And yes we are done here. No parting words to me as I left.

I ended up going to a dozen nurseries and plant centers in this town looking for pollinator friendly perennials, Lichtenfelt & Martin & South Pleasantburg Nurseries were definitely the best choices in terms of plant health and knowledgeable employees

Yikes! This place is expensive. I went to look at houseplants. Even some of the cuttings in the little tiny 1” pots were 8.00. ? I’m not looking for HD or Lowe’s prices, but most nursery’s have the little pots for 2-3. There was nothing really unique that I haven’t seen at a local gardening supply store. Just because of the prices, I probably wouldn’t return. I buy too many plants and it would bankrupt me at these prices. ?

Edit: I emailed them about the bushes and they did offer me an exchange. They said normally they only do a half price refund or exchange but allowed me to return these for a full swap.Huge selection, helpful staff. But - I bought two blueberry bushes to complete my row. Got them home, planted, and now the two I bought from the nursery are covered in leaf spot. The established bush I already had is fine, as is the two I bought from Winsletts a couple weeks before. They're in the same row, planted in between the others, and only the Pleasantburg bushes have it (so far), so it must have come from them. Now I have to determine if I will spray them forever or if I should dig them out and toss them to stop it from spreading. Very disappointed as they were more expensive than other places.

Bishop was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about Bonsai trees. He patiently helped me and answered all my d*** questions. He clearly has a passion and love for plants and it shows in the way he engages his customers! Thanks Bishop!

This is the best nursery I have found in the Greenville area. If you like house plants, this is the place! They have TONS of house plants....from small to medium and large. There are always unique plants that I don't see everywhere else. This place is always well-staffed and you can find people to answer your questions. There are tons of pots as well. The prices are a bit more, but the plants are healthy and big so it is worth it in my opinion.

Wow what an expansive nursery! This space was recommended by the guy that does my landscaping. I came here with an agenda--looking specifically for a specific item and thankfully so because wow is this an enormous nursery. When I arrived, I got out of my car and started walking around. It was about 10-12 minutes or so and I didnt see a single person. I was not approached and I was not greeted. I came here looking for one thing, but new to the area, I didnt know how large this place was until I started walking around, pretty aimlessly. But no one approached me. I was betting on someone saying hello also because I was the only person I saw walking around at this time in the early afternoon, so if you have questions, you may have to make the first move? Its not until I was walking towards the building where you make your purchases that I saw a person a standing outside the on the steps. He was pleasant and conversational so I am definitely not turned off by the this space. Its so expansive and I cant imagine you wont find what you are looking for. Walking around the outside is calming and tranquil. Looking forward to making a day of it to explore more plants to add to my new space. Recommend.
