“My husband and I were visiting Greenville from Greensboro, NC. Looking for new shoes, we went to Fleet Feet. Peter helped my husband find the perfect shoe for him. He was very very knowledgeable in different brands, styles, widths and cushion. He was very attentive and never made us feel rushed, allowing us to try on many many different shoes. Peter was phenomenal. One of, if not the best, Fleet Feet experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you Peter!”

“Although I was not able to purchase anything or spend quality time in the store. Despite that, in the brief time I was able to spend in the shop, i was enraptured by the recherché selection of men's clothing. Enthralled by the ambiance of the store; the products, the décor, the gentleman working, and their outfits. All came together harmoniously to give the shop a unique and elegant experience. Please, for those who read this review, although I did not have full experience, I do hope you give them your time and visit. “I had an ugly experience with the Asheville store yesterday. I called Greenville with no further intent than asking for a phone call from the owner to make a suggestion about her POS machine in Asheville.
I was impressed by the manager on the phone. She genuinely wanted to help me. She could have just decided I wasn’t her problem but she went way over the top and above to not only listen to my experience but fix it. I was in genuine disbelief she was going to actually FIX the problem. This amazing manager bent over backwards to make things right. We rarely see this in retail, she is a true gem.
After helping me get my problems in Asheville squared away I promised to drive all the way to Greenville and start from scratch with my needs. I’m driving all the way from Buncombe County to Greenville because they are great. I could order whatever I need but I want to do business with this store now.
I hope the owner reads this and realizes we need this level of good service and good business etiquette in Asheville. We want a dance store we can feel happy doing business with. I’d prefer to support small business rather than the big online stores or Amazon. Now I’ll drive to Greenville when I can but I won’t always be able to do that.”

They were outstandingly, professional, with their presentation and knowledge, to address my shoe repair needs. These gentlemen, seem to offer a talent and craft, that was once common place in our communities, and today, is so difficult to find. I wish them both well. They show great promise toward customer service, shoe knowledge and shoe repair. I’m looking forward, to bring them more business and will recommend them to many other shoe lovers!”

“My car died after having lunch nearby, and the owners/staff here were nice enough to let me hang out in the store to avoid the heat while I waited for a tow truck. I ended up replacing a pair of Sauconys while I was there. The staff here are a very nice and helpful group of folks.”
“Someone recently referred me to Appalachian Outfitters for hiking shoes. My current ones were too stiff and hand me downs from my sons. I made a special trip there and they are so much more than just hiking stuff.all the staff were super helpful and friendly. I purchased some Topos with a wide toe box and more cushioning for longer hikes. As biz owner of Energy Fitness in Greenville/TR area) and someone that loves to encourage my clients and others to get outdoors and enjoy exercise and nature this place is a must stop for gear. There are so many places to get some great hiking in.this area. The store is near the Haywood mall. Go check it out. I know i will be back.”
