July 9th 2024, This morning saw a incident was so disturbing, a restaurant depot employee pushed a customer an older man out of his way, the customer asked why did you push me and the employee replied” I pushed you because you were in my way”. When the angry customer reported it to the manager then the employee claimed the customer pushed him first then he pushed back, that’s a lie, I saw the whole thing.

7/8/24. Truck drivers..... Appointment at 1300. Arrived at 1047am, docked at 1108am, and done at 1322. Unless your the only truck there, it is a blind side back in. They used relay as a lumper service. No overnight parking. Otherwise they were very nice and I had no problems.

I have always been coming here to buy some stuff, but the situation has never changed. For certain items, the price on the computer when you check out and on the shelf is always different. The cashier was careless on the job and She was taking on her personal phone while she was checking out my items today. She didn’t bother to check my receipts when I asked her a question, but instead she sent me to the guest service desk for a refund.

I have a bad experience every time I go there. Examples: wrong prices and then you have to stand in line to return. Takes 45 minutes to return an item that was the wrong price. Had to wait for employee meeting to be over for a manager. Long lines. Rude personnel.register locked up and the personnel was rude to us like it was our fault. She had to restart the computer but never told us what was going on and started ringing up other people. Then rolled her eyes at us when we asked when someone was going to complete our checkout. I wouldn’t go there if I didn’t need the melt cheese. I used to get all our food there, now I only get the cheese. I go to Chefs store in Spartanburg for everything else.

Update below: Purchased ribs on 5/14/2024 got them home and opened the packaging, and the ribs were spoiled and took them back today 5/16/2024 in the 72 hr time frame. I was told I couldn't get a refund because of having a one day pass
Updated: I received a call and apologized and got replacement ribs for the issue. Thank You Tony for going above and beyond to rectify the situation.

They’re literally forcing people to purchase trash chicken (Tyson) we use to purchase 30-40 cases of wings per week here now all the way down to about 6-10 only when they have certain brands. After so many complaints and returns of the Tyson brand from numerous customers, they have done nothing to fix this. Didn’t even reach out to the supplier to demand a better product for their customers, just basically force those who have no other choice to deal with this backlash with complaints and reviews from their customers which tarnishes their reputation and brand. You would think that Restaurant Depot would at least care enough and want to pride themselves on only carrying quality products, but for some reason that’s not the case here. They say Tyson can keep up with their demand, but what happens when the demand slows oh it did and now that makes sense that their able to keep up because no one is demanding their products.

Wow, called for a product and was rudely spoken to. I was hung up on twice and told to come look for myself, tho the product wasn't there the last 2 times I went to look for it. I don't understand how people can be so miserable on a Friday.

70% of the stuff they have is more expensive than Sam's club and Costco.and to make it worse, they only hace 1 or 2 cashiers.

We like to patronize this store because the prices are worth the drive. We usually find supplies for our business, but this last time I found edible flowers in the cooler section! They have a great selection as far as size and color choices.This is a membership based store, but membership is free, just fill out the form with your business info and you should be good to go.

Very bad attention to the public, on Sunday its schedule published on Google said at 3:00 pm, I arrived at the store at 2:55 pm and I was denied entry to the store, no matter how much I insisted the store employees denied me entry

We are members and frequent shoppers at the Restaurant Depot in Greenville SC. The store staff have always been friendly, quite helpful and very knowable about products and our order needs. I would like to point out a special review for the delivery service of Restaurant Depot. RD uses a third party named Precise Distribution for their delivery service, which we never used before until our recent purchase order. They were FANTASTIC! Not only did they pull our online order, they directly communicated with us with modifications to our order and then delivered the goods directly to us. The were friendly, helpful and extremely professional. Big kudos to the delivery staff, Kyle. We would highly recommend them to anyone else and their service boost RD reputation of being top notch. We will continue to order online and have Precise Distribution deliver to us for all future purchases.
