“We were in Greenville for vacation and walked at Unity Park and came upon this gem. After walking by at least once a day I went to turn one night without going that way and my dog began carrying on and jumping up on me before I realized what he was trying to tell me. He wanted to go by and say hi to the dogs that always greeted him from the other side of the fence. So we did. Lol. We also took advantage of the self bath area we saw inside when walking by. Great set up and great staff.”

“I found out about Pet Wants from a friend, who told me how they have their own dog food made. I was interested in finding a good kibble for my 4 month old Black Goldendoodle puppy Chance. I called them up and they told me all about their food and asked about my dog and recommended food choices. I was told to come visit them and to pick up a sample of their food to see if Chance liked it. I made my way to their store with Chance in hand and was greeted very warmly. They loved on Chance and even let him sniff around and pick out his turkey foot that he just loved to chew on.He loved the food and a week later I bought some. We slowly transitioned him to their food from what he was currently on. He was doing ok on it until the day came that he received their food for his first full meal. He started to get an upset stomach and by the next day had a very smelly accident in his crate, which he never had before.I reached out to Pet Wants and Bree responded within the hour. She asked some questions about what was going on and then advised me to give him a little pumpkin, which helped. The next day I called Bree and we talked through what may be causing the issue. She was so genuine and cared so much, investing time, knowledge and energy into my pup. She then brought a new food option and a probiotic for his stomach to my house. What great care and customer service!Bree, Pet Wants GVL will always have our business, thank you so much for your care. “We brought our baby to the Greenville Humane Society for his neuter surgery and have also attended their vaccine clinic. The neuter clinic team was absolutely amazing. We dropped him off early in the morning and picked him up that evening, and his recovery has been incredible.
As a nervous puppy mom, I was so worried when I left him there for surgery. But the staff was so caring, compassionate, and reassuring, and the facility was incredibly clean and well organized. It truly put my heart at ease.
I am beyond grateful that he was taken such good care of. We will absolutely be returning for future vet visits. Thank you so much to the entire Greenville Humane Society team!”

“We were looking for a new groomer, we’re use to very often and timely Grooming’s and I had heard about paws and claws from a coworker. I quickly found that paws and claws had a location right next to Leo’s vet and made an appointment asap. Leo was very nervous at first from a previous experience with an entirely different company. He warmed up very well in this environment and the staff were all very welcoming and knowledgeable about him. When I picked him up he looked the best he ever had. Crystal did an AMAZING job, she listened to all of my concerns and was very attentive and spot on with what we were looking for. I love that this establishment also offers treats and toys as we always buy a little snack before we leave. I also really love that they have snacks that are ingredient conscious as my previous dog was diabetic and I really pay attention to sugar. Super easy and convenient to rebook at pickup. We had the best experience and LOVE them! Highly recommend! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“This store has a good variety of fish and the tanks are clean and well cared for. The prices are reasonable and they have several options for tanks and supplies. If you need information about fish or setting up a tank then ask for Garrett. He was so polite and extremely knowledgeable with the fish varieties. They also carry other pet supplies and from just browsing around the store they have a large variety of foods and supplies at reasonable prices. Definitely will return here for my pet supplies.”
“Very knowledgeable staff! I went in to inquire about a bunny and the lady that helped me was able to answer all my questions. She showed me where rabbit supplies are around the store and what I would need. The store is always clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend checking Pet Supermarket for any pet supply needs. Or if you're considering purchasing a small pet, bird, or some fish!”
“They genuinely care about the animals here but unfornately it's petco's policies for the husbandry of the animals being wrong in their temporary holding cages. Do your own research and learn from experienced owners and you'll do fine. Fish, reptiles, and birds are the main ones I am thinking of when I say this. They have several items I will never buy; they look good to us humans but are not good for our pets. (Rope toys, bell toys, bird mirrors, electric heat rocks, plastic fish tank decor--to name a few.)
I was looking for a female cockatiel but didn't want to have to drive all the way to Charlotte to pick one up from the airport and haven't seen any good listings online but I found one here. Just from initial observation she isn't scared of people and that's one of the main things I was looking for. The person at the register said they don't clip wings, so she probably came from Sun Pet in Georgia with her wings already clipped. I think when she molts and grows them back in, she'll be getting around fine. I'm just glad I noticed so I could keep her in a smaller cage until she can get around better. She kind of hates hands but not terribly so, with some work, she is going to be a sweetheart. I got her Sunday, it's only Tuesday and she's already trusting me and letting me pet her. I've had birds on and off for over 15 years and kept fish over 10 years. The Angelfish in the picture came from this store over a year ago and is still thriving.”
