Really bad front service. I don’t want to give even one star. I told the doctor Ashley my medicine only keep for 2 months, he said when I finished just call to refill, but their front service don’t want to help you, they just said they don’t know what kind medicine. I have blood reports everything in their office, they said they don’t know? Kidding me? Now I know why their google reviews so low. Never come back!

What a disappointment! I waited two months for my appointment and it was cancelled 3 hours before I was supposed to be seen! This is a doctors office people come here with real problems. You can not just do that. I will never call this practice again. Be warned!

I have been a patient for 25 YEARS. After Dr Edmund left a new guy named Jonathan Patrick Ashley took his place. I asked for a script change like i always did with Edmunds, the new guy just cares about numbers and money they wont call in a script makes you come in for everything! Avoid like the plague

If I could give zero stars I would. After over 20 years as a patient I’ll never go back to this practice. They were terribly unprofessional and dismissive after making a critical error that delayed care. Do NOT recommend.

Called nurse got back to me in less than 1 hr. She was so nice. The whole practice cares; they take time to listen to their patients.

The 3.1 rating now makes complete sense. I visited Pelham Family Health for the first time today. I was greeted promptly, checked in quickly and politely asked to take a seat. Within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment time I was brought back. The nurse that took my vitals was once again very polite and thorough. Then I waited. At 50 minutes past my appointment time Dr. James Poinsette came in, introduced himself and asked what brought me in. I stated that I was seeking a referral for podiatry and that “I may be interested in establishing a PCP assuming that the office wasn’t regularly an hour behind schedule.” Those were my exact words. Dr. James Poinsette scanned out of his terminal, stormed out of the room and slammed the door so hard the entire office was startled when I promptly left behind him. I did not raise my voice, I was not disrespectful, I simply stated the facts. I have never seen anything as childish and unprofessional in the medical industry in my life, and I deal with the VA. How does an individual like this maintain employment with behavior that isn’t acceptable for a child, let alone a trained professional?

I can't say nothing but GREAT things about this office. Dr. Meghan is literally the sweetest physician ever. She listens and goes the extra mile when it comes to your care. My entire house is now a patient of hers. She don't rush you, she cares, and her staff is so sweet. I just love the ladies at the front desk. Anytime you have an issue is comforting to me to know that I can communicate with someone through mychart.

I will never recommend this practice to anyone. I was treated like a total idiot. When I, a 35 year old female, explained that I was getting a mammogram, and asked if I could have the results sent there, since I haven't seen my new GYN yet, the response was a rather snotty "Why are you getting a mammogram? You're only 35!" Um... My insurance is telling my it's time to schedule one, I used to smoke, both of my MyChart accounts are suggesting one... I was confused. She'd young, so I let it slide. Then she suggested I go to pain management for a condition in the vertebrae in my neck, and my fibromyalgia. I told her no at first, because I like to partake in Delta 8, which is perfectly legal in SC, but pain management doesn't like, because it's still THC, and shows up in urine. She finally talked me into a referral for it. Now, on to my migraines. She puts me on Imetrex. Which would be fine, if I didn't get about for of these brain bangers a week. The box only comes with 9. I ran out, only to find I could only fill them once a month. Okay.... Maybe she thought the Topamax would work. Well it's not. The final straw was when I decided to read her notes in My Chart. Under the section where it asks if the patient does drugs, she said YES! For any other doctor I encounter on that network to see. I've been honest about the legal delta 8 to every other doc, and no one else has listed in My Chart that I do drugs. NO ONE! Back to Bon Secours I go, and I really hope this poor lil Nurse Practitioner matures, and learns not to judge based on looks. I'm very punk rock, not ashamed of it.

This is the worst family practice. It use to be great until Prisma took over. They could care less if you’re sick. My family have been patients with this office for over 30 years. When the original doctors left it went to hell. Rude help and they do not care about their patients especially elderly. Prisma is horrible all they care about is money.

Terrible Practice. This facility was once the best family practice in town up until the Prisma greed machine bought them. My mother had a kidney infection and could not get in to see a Dr or nurse in oder leave a specimen and get antibiotics. They could not work her in ANY day of the week. May have taken 10 min, Instead, like always. They seem to only take well visits and refer sick patients to Prisma Urgent care facility's who charge higher fees and copays, not to mention a waiting area around very sick people. This is one of many examples. I am now taking my family to Thrive Family Medicine. What a breath of fresh air. It is a return to the day of caring, friendly doctors. Not just rude nurse practitioners and office staff who really could care less if you complain or leave their practice. If you are searching for family practice, please take my advice and go to a non-prisma practice. That said, I will make it a life mission to give my bad opinion of Prisma to anyone who is considering this practice.
