We arrived at the nail salon at noon. There were no other guests in the salon. Immediately two technicians were available to assist with our requests for pedicures and manicures. The mail tech servicing my service attempted to remove the gel polish from my toes with a nail drill. Multiple times she applied the drill to my skin and it was painful. After I let her know she was hurting me, she used a file to remove the gel polish. With the file, she was continuously filling against my skin and causing me a lot of pain. I repeated several times, it was hurting and eventually had to ask her to stop the service. While I was going through this painful experience of having the gel polish removed from my toe nails, another technician came from the back with a basket, with a bowl of acetone on top of a towel, sat it in my lap and had me soak my hands in it to remove the gel polish from my nails. The second nail technician left for more than 20 minutes. I was sitting in a pedicure chair, with a bowl of acetone on my lap, while another technician was providing a very painful pedicure.I eventually stopped all services and we left without receiving a proper pedicure or manicure. We were charged for the painful, incomplete pedicure and charged for the half removal of the nail polish. We paid.This experience was horrible. There are many things that need improvements. The customer service was less than a 2 star rating because when I explained the pain I was experiencing, I was being told “it tickled” No, it did not tickle. Also, the attentiveness of the staff was lacking…there were only two of us there for services, why two of the technicians were in the back, one returned to the salon while ending a telephone call. The products and tools used either need to be updated or improved training needs to be provided.I remember when this was a thriving nail salon…today, not so much.Service: Pedicure

Took my daughter in for a forfeit today. I totally understand if you’re understaffed, but to also be rude, was very unprofessional. Some of these places are extremely prejudice when it comes to African-Americans.

What a nice nail salon! It is very clean and the thinnest pink and white gel nails I have gotten to date. I get compliments all of the time on my nails even when they are several weeks out! I have no need to go anywhere else!

I've been getting my nails done at this salon since it opened in 2007. I've been in turmoil against myself for if I should post a review or not, but I had an appointment for myself and a friend before our vacation in June. Our pedicures were fulfilled but when it came to my nails in particular I knew something wasn't right as I'd been sitting in the pedicure chair watching customers come and go from Q's chair who I had an appointment with. Finally, I asked after his wife being the one to do my pedicure kept pestering him about going to dinner if my nails were actually going to be done. He literally told me "no" even after having a reservation, plus it being the Friday before we left for vacation I was out of options. Luckily I called sc nail bar and they fit me in to get my finger nails done the way I wanted and re did my friends pedicure as it didn't look the way she wanted. I'm still so disappointed in the way this salon treated me. I was in the service industry for 15 years and always made sure my customers were taken care of. After so many years of loyalty I would never recommend this salon to another friend.
