Kristen and her team are absolutely professional, courteous, and prompt.
We used Wheaton/Mark 1 to move from SC to TX.
We have moved many times due to my husband's corporate job.
This move was the best by far!
I have quite a few antiques.
My husband collects rocks and has a four-foot geode.
Kristen came to my house personally instead of these "real time" quotes that I received from two other companies.
I appreciated this extra special (these days) customer service
The driver, Steve Bennington, his son Steve, and their team are top-notch. They wrapped, packed, and delivered to Texas for us.
Kristen called me every day to make sure my expectations were met.

Five stars for Kristen and her crew. We had met with a competitor for our out-of-state move and while he explained his services well, we decided to sample one more mover. Within minutes as she toured our home, Kristen explained in great detail how she was staffed, what weights would allow us to save money, and details of the billing process. The crew - some with some years on them, were absolutely up to the task and handled heavy lifting and packing with aplomb. At our new home, these same crew members spent about 20 minutes moving large L-shaped seating from place to place in their quest to find just the right distance between our tv screen and adjacent tables and walls. It was genuinely slow and heavy lifting, but the crew soldiered on. Now our new home looks sharp as a tack and we are entirely comfortable. The crew was a down-to-earth lot who had made us feel at ease. All calls placed to Kristen were answered promptly and she was perpetually upbeat and cheerful.Mark 1 Moving & Storage is first-rate. Highly recommended.

We used them to move to Florida, where we had thousands of dollars of damage to our household goods. Damage was pointed out upon reception at our new home, but since it wasn't formally "notated" upon reception within the Wheaton process, it's not being covered.I've updated my rating as Mark 1 did help us with our claim. For any potential customers, I would recommend that you have the loading and unloading crews work at your pace - not theirs. Make sure to review the noted condition of your belongings prior to them being loaded onto the truck and then once they've been unloaded into your new home. If damage isn't noted upon unloading, it is difficult to get a claim approved.

Great company and excellent guys moved my daughter into her college apartment. They arrived at the time they said they would arrive and also helped my daughter's college roommate move her mattress and box springs upstairs. I highly recommend this company for all of your moving needs

Mark 1 Moving was quick to respond and move 12 large pieces of really nice heavy furniture from one residence to another. Everything was professionally wrapped and moved with organization and precision. They did such an amazing job, that they were contracted again on the spot to move a large lathe (800+ lbs) from the same residence for which they had no problem executing in an extremely timely fashion. I've already set up a future move with them in about a month and feel at ease knowing that the move is going to be seemless and trouble-free. Thanks Mark 1 Moving!

I have spoken and learned a lot from Kristen at Mark 1 Moving. She cares about every client that they move and goes above and beyond to get you the best moving services possible. I highly recommend using them. My husband couldn't believe everything they do to protect your property from inventorying every item to putting protective paper down throughout your home to keep everything clean.

Very professional crew. It went well from initial estimate thru packing, almost a year of storage and delivery. They were personable and you felt like you were being cared for by a family member. Kristen and Mark are delightful and the other people we worked with were great and did their best to meet our needs. This is way above and beyond for any of my prior moves.
