I love Lidl. I want to make that clear to begin with. I went in shortly after 8 AM last week.. There were no cashiers available just self check out. I started to scan my items and unfortunately it wasn’t working properly. There was one older lady employee in there. I waved to her for some assistance and she gave me a major attitude like I was doing something wrong. She eventually did come over and I told her it wasn’t scanning properly and she corrected the problem, but as I said, I didn’t appreciate the attitude. I’m not an idiot, the problem is your self checkout machine.I don’t understand why there were no cashiers at that hour of the morning. If the store is open, there should be at least one cashier available. I will go back, but if this continues to be an issue, I’ll go somewhere else like Aldi.

Wonderful store but there's been a recent update to their self checkout machines that make it 3x as long to get everything scanned. Hopefully, their corporate office will allow them to fix it soon. The in-store staff knows it's a problem.

I like shopping at lidl. Here in the USA and also in Germany. There are a lot of products here that are significantly cheaper than in other markets.

Hannah the supervisor was not very friendly and didn’t provide good customer service. I bought a product and when I opened it at home the glass was broken. She was not willing to swap it out for another of the same kind. I thought Lidl would stand behind the products they sold. Very disappointed in their service and lack of care to ask additional follow up questions.

Prices are cheap, but so is the quality of products. It's a menage of various items from gardening, to grills, pools and groceries. Changes daily from what I hear.
