Awesome mechanic. I had an engine misfire and brought it to Joe. After diagnosing the issue, Joe took his time to bring me into the shop, show me exactly what he was going to do, and explain the issue and repair. Didn’t try and push additional service that wasn’t needed and communicative throughout. Will be using Joe for all my Subaru needs from here on out.

Very organized business. Had a starter replaced, job done in less than 24 hours. Gave me an appraisal before doing the work. My first time there and I will return as a repeat customer if needed. Joe was very nice.

Been going there for over a decade. Joseph is very honest, reasonable, and reliable mechanic. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I highly recommend him. His shop is always clean and he is punctual.

I unknowingly purchased a used Toyota Highlander that had leaking head gaskets. Joe and his team at L Japan Auto performed the head gasket repair, which involved taking the engine apart, over 20,000 miles ago, and my car is still running well without any issues. I also go to Joe and team for regular maintenance / oil changes, and I’ve been extremely happy with the work they have done on my car. They are very knowledgeable and detailed in their work - I would highly recommend L Japan Auto if you’re seeking a shop that does great work at a reasonable price!

Joe has been our mechanic for over 5 years. He has worked on our Subaru and Acura many times. He is reliable and very trustworthy. When we bring our cars to Joe we know he is going to do the job right and charge us a fair price. His shop is organized and spotless. Joe has given us helpful information regarding maintenance and possible manufacturer recalls that has saved us money as well. If you’re looking for a mechanic, Joe is the best in town.

Make sure to check their requirements for new vehicles. It is far down on the website. Unresponsive to website requests. Rude on the phone.
