Bed was a little hard and uncomfortable, and there were used grocery bags in one of the dresser drawers. But other than that, the room was clean and well stocked.

We asked for a ADA room and didn't find out it was on a upper floor till i got here When I explained that all ADA rooms are required to be by the ground entrance by federal law I basically got"we didn't know that" I'm a member of a disability travel group and have turned over other motels for ADA violations

Stay at the Hyatt right down the road
I can see why this hotel is rated two stars on Google. I would give it three stars just because it isn't a Red Roof Inn or a residence inn, but it's barely three stars.
The staff were all very friendly, I cannot express that enough.
The gym had no weights, the speakers were distorted the entire time and there was no remote to turn on the TV. My shower curtain had mildew, the A/C unit was struggling the entire night, the thick curtains only close half way so there is no way to block sun or ambient light and the couch had stains. The room was good enough but I have been in much better Hampton Inns.
The food was scarce in selection but not bad.
The total was nearly $160 and I've paid less than that for an Embassy Suites before.

Five because the rooms, service and location were all stellar for the non-downtown Greenville needs. You need to be not downtown you can't do better than Haywood.
This place was great
EXCEPT- easily the worst hotel breakfast I've had in years and I travel for work. The meat was all gray, the eggs were so powdered that I thought it had diaper rash and the bread products were hard as a rock. Eat elsewhere, this Continental breakfast should relocate to a new continent.
Thanks for the great stay and location though!! I'll be back (and have breakfast elsewhere when I come ?)

Location was only 2 miles from my destination daily. It was also located near some great restaurants and a fantastic mall.
Rooms: Rooms are very comfortable. Could use some updating
Walkability: It is within walking distance to several restaurants and the mall is across the road.

The rooms are extremely outdated, the carpet had tears and a dirty appearance, the couch and even the ironing board had stains on them. I literally laid a towel down before sitting on the couch and also when ironing my clothes.

The manager moved us to another room upon request due to cigarette smells in the previous room.

Probably the friendliest Hampton Inn out of the many that I have stayed. The woman working the breakfast counter did a fantastic job Easter morning going out of her way to insure that everyone was served and happy.

This seems to be a Hampton that's in some need of some updating in the rooms...very few power outlets, a couple of which were loose and broken. The rooms WERE very clean, as well as the common and public areas. The absolute best part of this hotel is the some of the friendliest and most helpful and welcoming staff of any Hampton we've visited...for that reason alone, try 'em out! Only about 10 min away from downtown Greenville.
Rooms: A bit dated, not many power outlets for today's power hungry multi device families.
Nearby activities: Tons of great restaurants in Greenville area.

Arrived after 1am but was unable to check in on the app because of a problem with my card so I couldn't get a digital key. I tried to use the intercom call button to get the workers attention but that didn't work. I was able to use the app to fill in the phone number on my phone app and made contact that way.
Everything else was good. Rooms comfortable, nice shower pressure. The microwave and mini fridge were welcomed after a long drive.

I accidentally left a garment bag in the hotel room with several items in it. I called after returning home and my items were located in Lost & Found. I paid $40 to have the items shipped to me but did not receive everything that I left. I called 6 different times and was told by the employee that a manager would return my call, which never happened. Strange to me that items would have disappeared from the garment bag. Very, very poor customer service and follow up on issues.
