I went for a club fitting to see if technology could overcome my age, slower swing speeds and mis hits. Answer is no but they were able to improve iron distance but the main problem is me! After 2.5hrs of hitting shots, we dis manage ro find a good shaft/head combo that added some yards.I liked the facility, their patience and knowledge. It validated that tech can help somewhat after going through a thorough evaluation of multiple clubs and shafts. It is worth the money to have a club fitting before purchasing golf clubs. The price is fair for the evaluation and then, if you want to purchase a new set of clubs that were fitted for you, they will order them and be the middleman.Good place to just go and see the atrengths and weaknesses of your game. They can confirm what you're experiencing in your game. They did not try to force me into any manufacturer and even suggested the woods I have in the bag work just fine.Overall, good place to test yourself and your clubs for the best fit. Greg was patient and worked to change shafts, heads and flex to optimize distance and ball flight.

My instructor was so rude. I literally set up my lessons before COVID hit. I paid in full. Didn’t do a payment plan. So they saw me for a s***** that I am. Took full advantage of me. I didn’t want to practice in such close environment. I asked for my money back multiple times and nothing happens. Don’t go here if you want accountability.

Had two lessons with Josh, made a hole in one at my home club on number 17 and an eagle on number 18. Josh has a very calming teaching style and really knows how to keep it simple

Very disappointing experience. Felt like I was "on the clock" the fitter even mentioned that we had an hour when in fact they promote a 90 minute fitting. Did not seem interested in problems and what I wanted to accomplish until I mentioned them. Only shown 3 different brand of clubs and the experience felt like I was being "taught to the test" ie Using only their diagnostic tools. I could have gone to Golf Galaxy and had the same experience.... This may be their standard course but I expected a more "invested" approach as was the case in previous fitting experiences with other golf professionals.

My experience at Golftec Greenville included a series of 10 lessons, at a cost of $750. A complete waste of money. I had zero improvement in my game - in fact my handicap has risen. It may be good for some, but I am sorry I wasted my time and money.

I was wary of taking golf lessons at a golf equipment store at first. I originally went for a swing analysis and was pleasantly surprised. Being an age 60 plus golfer I wasn't sure if I could improve my swing after so many years. I met Tim Fuhrer, one of the instructors and we began the process. I was a little intimidated by all the details of the swing analysis, but it soon came together that swing speed, spin rate, angle of attack and more all had a direct impact on where the ball went. Suffice it to say, I actually began to see improvement. I reduced my handicap from 16 to 12.2 after only 6 lessons. My last round was a 79, shooting an even par 36 on the back nine. I can honestly say I'm a believer in the GolfTech method. I'm looking forward to my continued improvement and fully expect to lower my handicap to single digits.
