Customer service is below average. The hour's listed on line and on the store are never right or they just open and close when they want to. But you can still find what you need and it is convenient.

Currently sitting outside this location on 2/16 @6:51pm and the doors are locked and the phone number is busy. No note on door as to why as to why the store has closed over 2 hours earlier than what is listed on Google. 4 other people have driven up, tried the door and left while I’ve been sitting here. Pretty ridiculous.

I was in this Dollar General store on 01/31/24 about 1 p.m. ( do not want to write down the names, but managers can check who were on duty that date and time ) Was absolutely shocked and disappointed, respectfully asked the associates for help couple times and they were absolutely rude and disrespectful, ignored me when I asked to show me what isle to go to find the products for DoorDash customer ( time is important for everyone). Very unprofessional staff . I am sure I will never come to this store again.

They’re always closing at least 15-20 mins early… I needed essentials for my home & child and the stop would have been convenient. This happens often. Also the front needs to be manned a little better. I was inside recently and about 5 of us stood for a while calling cashiers and searching the store until finally an associate came but she didn’t apologize for the wait! There is however a young man in the store who is usually very polite!

DJ is one of the nicest employees I have ever met. My husband and I enjoy going in there to see him. He is always so friendly and helpful. He deserves as raise.

4/19/23 8:45pmJust wanted to pick up some highlighters that was it. Says they close on google maps at 9pm but they were closed when we arrived at 8:45pm.

Takes nothing but cash for over the last two weeks? Was told at 8:45 pm that they were closing in three minutes. How sad it has become when the younger adults have no respect, intelligence or just plain common sense to do basic customer service skills. Shame on the store manager!!!When I go back there again, I will treat the associates, use improper grammar with the associates and disrespect them just as much as they treated me.Read the reviews.....sickening and disgraceful.

If I could give this place one star I would!!! The whole GHETTO. Opens and closes when the workers want. Last night I had an emergency and I know they are supposed to stay open until 9pm. I got there a little after 8 pm and the door was locked. Customers were still in the store and I asked the worker what time they close and she said now. I definitely recorded it and will be forwarding to the appropriate parties. I’ve been in the store and the employees were arguing bc no one wanted to be the cashier and it was a line of people. I’ll stick to Target and Walmart bc the inconsistency and I professionalism isn’t worth it to me.

This Dollar General and probably many of the others on Butler and elsewhere are deceiving buyers by posting certain prices on the product and in product aisles and charging higher prices at the register. On my recent visit, every price listed on the products I bought was, at least, $.50 cent higher at the register. It is a deceptive practice and should be called out. Buyer Beware!!! Please check what you are being charged at the register. The public is suffering from inflation at high rates. We should not have to worry about that level of blatant deception.

Last time i visited this store was a months ago since then it had gotten worse. No one greets you at the door. Have to wait fever for someone to cone to the register. Went there tonight and ended up using self check out because none of the employees could be found and when they finally showed up They didn't apologize for the wait or anything. Didn't even wish us a good night even after we told them to gave a good one. The floors were really dirty and there was water near the registers but the caution sign was not near the water but on the opposite side of the shelves where you couldn't see it and the shelves looked like someone just threw the stuff on it.
