This dollar general has nothing!!! it’s has roaches everywhere the employees, managers do not STOCK. BOXES ON BOXES are stacked in each isle but products are not actually never stocked for buy the manager Jamey Mack is incredibly rude he’s very inconsistent on his word he’s not professional at att lawd Jesus please help this dollar general… retail is not that hard.

I cannot believe this person ( Jaimie Mack) who is so rude to customers, and especially his staff is even allowed to still be GM at this location. He's even ran off the seasoned employees who have been there for years and one has been there for decades!! I'm not going to say these 2 beautiful, and awesome employee's names but they were so awesome to work with as well as very professional when it came to working with the public. I've seen, and heard this man cuss out customers personally!! This is why this location closes early sometimes, and is also hiring all the time is because this is not an easy person to get along with as his title is GM!! I am blown away he is still there! This company must not have high standards when they are getting this many complaints against this man. I've seen other former employee's post on this review and they have heard, seen, and experienced the same things I had when working with this so-called (GM). Why doesn't someone above the DM position, who are obviously as diranged as this person ( Jaimie Mack) get rid of this guy before his name is on more than 6 of the negative reviews I've already read. I thought it was just me!! But this guy is going to cause your business, at this already horrible, and sketchy neighborhood called Berea, cause more loss of business.

This place sucks to be employed with. It’s just the manger it’s micro management and it sucks. The manger James Mack.. is very rude disrespectful to his employees at this store I liked it at first until he came asking me very stupid question nothing to do with the job f. he asked why does my husband back out let me out on out breck. He sucks as a boss for. For the women that work the lady’s there they are very nice women and the job was not hard just it was hard putting up with his mouth and he has very bad mouth. He would cuss me out and that’s not how you’re supposed to run a store like that. My own husband does not talk to me like that and I was not going to let him talk to me that way. Very unprofessional he will call you over and over. Then text your personal phone after hours of work. It’s like why would he call or text his employees after hours from work that’s not professional at all. The lady’s that I worked with there were very nice. Umm some I did not trust much because of course if your working with all women there going be drama because there going to be that one but really all the drama came from James Mack just the way he is and all the women that work there know how he is. I think that they need to either fire him or demote him. Anita the assistant manager that works there would be good at been the store manager there. She is nice and she can get her point across to you with out cussing you out very friendly and just the store would be so better and if she was manager there she would have ppl stay there longer then just a few month but as long as Jane Mack is the manager there they not going to keep ppl he is like a cancer . But either take what I say or find out yourself. You might not see it at first but get on his bad side and then you will find out I have even went above him to talk to Steve jumper and he did nothing told James that I called him they both are very unprofessional. When u talk to the higher up cause you have a problem. You don’t go and say well this person said this and that about you and just blow it off like what they say don’t matter do to be honest I hope someone that’s higher the Steve jumper that they remove James Mack and steal jumper they both not very professional and I’m sure hr would not like how they are running this over there it’s dollar general Greenville sc 29617 store number 02986. On ceader lane road.. someone plz do something because this is not fair to have someon that’s like that also even they even Steve jumper it’s not right they both don’t run that store the way it needs to be .

Steve your manager at cedar lan rd Jamie is very disrespectful to the points he is cussing out his employee’s which is unprofessional. You are loosing customers “money”and employees . There is a reason why you can’t keep cashiers there. Look at the reviews his name pops up. Who is the owner of this store?

Manager seems rude. A sign was put up saying they don't take disability insurance cards but they have a contract w the insurance company. Next move is bringing in American Disability Act.

Definitely don’t like the manager I lost my key inside the store asked him to watch the camera to see where I lost it at inside the store but he didn’t want to help and had a attitude the whole time I’m trying to find my key and call a family member or something for help never again

It was absolutely horrible. I want to to get in touch with the DM. Because this so-called general manager was so rude to me that day. But my experience with the Dollar General in Berea was obviously disgusting. The whole area is disgusting not just Dollar General. I actually witnessed somebody stealing something and putting it in their pants. And of course the employees that can't do anything about that. But it is your show is what kind of neighborhood that is. But I think his name is Jamie a Mac he is a general manager there and he's absolutely horrid. His attitude was just awful. So I'm taking to call the district manager and report him.
