Love this place they treat my daschund with so much care and love. I love that they are able to always work with your schedule and are prompt to respond in any emergency. I'm super happy and would recommend it to everyone. They are the best!!!

My cat needed emergency surgery during the days following Hurricane Helene, and my primary vet was without power. My doctor recommended this office, and I was extremely nervous to have a doctor I'd never met perform surgery on my pet.
However as soon as I walked in the office, I felt confident that they would do a good job. The entire staff is welcoming and compassionate and care about every pet that comes through the door. My kitty's emergency surgery went very well, with updates ever step of the way via text and phone calls. We are at home recovering and have been supported fully with check ups by the staff and an after hours line for my numerous nervous questions. I am extremely grateful for Dr Hait and the entire staff of crosswinds.

I wish I could give Crosswinds 10 stars! Everyone there treats my fur babies like their own. They are compassionate, VERY responsive, and knowledgeable. I have been going to Crosswinds for almost two years since I moved to GVL, and I can’t express how grateful I found them. Dr. Hait has been amazing with both of my dogs, but especially my 15-year-old lab who is in there quite often. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Crosswinds is a great vetinary practice. Dr. Braunus and Dr. Powell are both wonderful compassionate veterinarians. They are helping us get through these senior problems with both our babies.

Charlie rates Crosswinds a 10/10!
Went in for a new patient appointment and was taken back early. In and out in under 45 minutes, while never feeling rushed in the slightest. Absolutely beautiful facility, private practice, and the entire staff was extremely kind at every step. Truly a great experience.

Having grown up with a veterinarian parent, I have HIGH expectations for my pets care. From my first puppy visit long ago, Dr Hait has always impressed me and earned my trust with every interaction!! Everyone at Crosswinds is super friendly and helpful, great listeners, and it makes visits so easy and stress free for both me and my dogs!! I always feel heard and cared for when we have a concern, but it’s a “fun” trip for my pups when we go for our annual checkups!! We couldn’t have asked for better care, concern, and kindness for us and our beloved Scotch when it was time for her to cross over the rainbow bridge. Lizzy and Luna (and their family) LOVE Dr Hait and the staff at Crosswinds!!

Went in today with a healthy-ish kitten. The kitten had been eating, drinking, pooping and peeing, was highly responsive to all stimuli but had white gums which was the reason for concern.
Within 10 minutes of being at the vet the kitten died, they were being quite rough with him and stated “after providing oxygen they turned around to grab IV fluids and when they turned back the kitten was dead.”
The kitten had a high heart rate from being at the vets office alone. Then, after being rough with him and unnecessarily scruffing him, he suddenly passes away. No less than 5 minutes after they took him into the back.
I don’t know how anyone else would look at this but I have ZERO trust in this vet clinic after today.
After everything was said and done (which was only 20 minutes) they had the nerve to charge a vet examination fee. It’s sad to see how these vets value money over the life of an animal.
Needless to say, I will NEVER recommend this vet to anyone.

10 stars! This is one of the best small vet hospitals I've been to across the USA. They are so kind and gentle with animals. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of their staff, facilities, and services. Highly recommend!

I’ve been taking my dog here for a couple years now and have not been disappointed.

I saw one vet here that I really liked, but since then I’ve seen multiple different ones that don’t seem very skilled. Lots of guesswork and added costs. It’s $98 just to be seen for a sick visit, just to walk in the door.
They are not understanding. I was running late to an appointment (always on time previously) and I called letting them know ahead of time. They said they would try to work me in. We got there and the woman at the front said it will be $150 for the apt for an emergency visit instead. I asked why this wasn’t provided to me on the phone when I called prior. She didn’t have an answer. Will be changing vets.
Recently I have heard several similar stories about the care and customer service here declining.

Bentley, my eight year old Havanese, woke up on a Sunday with something wrong with his right eye. I called Crosswinds as soon as they opened on Monday and was offered a visit that AM. He was diagnosed with a scratch on the eyeball, given a drug to drop in the eye twice daily. Two days have passed and he's doing much better. I've been to many Vet clinics, worked with my cousins who were Vets, and Crosswinds is an outstanding organization.

Took our older kitty here, they cared for him like he was their own. He had a hard time with the visit so they called me afterwards to check on him. It’s so hard to find a place that truly cares about cats and doesn’t just want your money. I appreciate that they want to get to the root of the problem and recommend what’s best for the pet.
