the best home security system! i have two little ones and i always feel safe after having CPI install our home. we had fernando helping us and he was so kind and patient with me. he answered every question i had! thank you fernando! i will be asking for you if i ever need help!

Make sure you stay far away from CPI Security. I have had this service for the past 4-5 years and the word that continues to arise is inconsistency. My 2 cameras are offline every month and the issues are never resolved. From the outset, I encountered multiple technical glitches with the security system. The system frequently failed to detect motion accurately, leading to false alarms and unnecessary disruptions. This not only compromised the system's reliability but also created a constant sense of insecurity. Customer service is almost impossible to reach by phone, email or text messages, which they recommend. They tell you that their customer service lines are backed up and if you request a call back, it never comes. Attempts to resolve these issues through customer support were frustrating. The response time was slow, and non-existent at the time and the support team seemed ill-equipped to provide effective solutions. The lack of urgency and expertise displayed by the support staff only exacerbated the problems I was facing. The overall impact of this poor service has been significant. The supposed peace of mind that comes with a security system has been replaced by constant frustration and anxiety due to its unreliability. Multiple attempts have been made to cancel the service, but the "cancelation" department is busy with a lot of requests and I am still waiting for a form to cancel my service. I sincerely urge anyone considering CPI Security to thoroughly research and reconsider their choice. My hope is that the company takes steps to rectify these issues and prioritize customer satisfaction in the future.

I love CPI! I got them because my sister has it too, and I like the cameras and how it detects everything! Anytime I have a question or concern, customer service is always available ASAP and are kind and courteous!

The worst service I ever had they lie about everything I get a different story every time I call I would not refer them to a dog!!!!!!!!!!! And the sad part about it is they don’t care they don’t value there customers I hate to leave bad reviews but this has got to stop

Over 2 years ago I got a new phone and that's when the problem started being locked out of the app. Every time I call they say to wait 24 hours to reset and call us back. My wife also called trying to get the problem resolved they said the same thing give it 24 hours and try again. My wife's app works fine but one reason I purchased the alarm was because I can check on my house while away. Customer support it not good at all.

Michael M., was very thorough and professional and went above and beyond to help us with our CPI issues and there were many. He did not rush but thought things through and now for the first time our security system is running correctly since we got it back in January. Thank you so much Michael M.

Our install was rigged. We now have an electrical outlet that won't stay in the wall due to the install. They put the smoke detector where my husband told him not to put it, so every time we open the oven it goes off. Complained to CPI with no response. The doorbell stopped working months ago and now the whole system won't work at all. Contacted CPI to cancel our account and was told it would be canceled but we are still being charged. Will never do business with them again.

Adam left a mess everywhere he drilled. He took my husband's ladder outside without asking. He had a temper tantrum after I asked him to relocate a camera. My doorbell camera is not working & my living room camera only sometimes. I set up an appointment to have issues fixed. Have not heard from anyone. When I called to inquire about purchasing another camera, I was assured someone would get back to me. That was last week. I am very disappointed & am considering cancelling my services if the issues aren't fixed.Services: Installation

UPDATE 10/11/2023: I was supposed to receive a call back by end of day yesterday and as of the end of day today, I still have heard nothing.We’ve had CPI since 2021. Our cameras have gone out numerous times and when they do work they take a while to load. When we have had techs out we’ve been told the issue was our WiFi. A few months ago I purchased a nest cam after speaking to a neighbor who had great reviews. It was flawless. About this time our CPI cameras went out. Just to test it, I upgraded our WiFi. CPI cameras still wouldn’t connect. Called CPI and had an appointment for 10/05, no one showed up, it was accidentally canceled. Additionally, a door sensor for a main entry point only works occasionally, technician said it’s a “one off” thing since it worked when he was here. The day after technician was here, I found that he had completely removed my email address from the account despite me being the account holder and replaced it with my husbands without either of our consent. It was a very obvious change as the names didn’t match at all. When I told CPI this, the response was they would “see why I wasn’t notified” — not that they would investigate why my account was changed without my permission. This is the worst security contract you can ever be in.Services: Installation

We just had the system installed, so can't really rate the system yet, but wanted to evaluate our technician. Luke Francis was outstanding in every respect. He was prompt, courteous, careful, professional and thorough. He explained the system well and was extremely patient with us. I wanted outdoor cameras. The installer was nice but told me to go buy some Ring cameras— they are easier to install and just as reliable.Also, our panel has glitches. Earlier this week when I was trying to turn off the alarm on the pad, it would not take code and indicated a panic fire alarm.When I spoke with the representative, she just said that happens sometimes…. Really??Try another company —plenty of options out there now.Services: Installation

Nate and Gabby were so great to work with. Gabby was very knowledgeable about equipment and was able to fit all of our wants and needs for our home. I was really pleased with her knowledge and helpfulness to make sure we had everything we wanted to make our home safe and secure. Nate was extremely friendly and made sure I was comfortable with our keypad, phone app and addressed all of my many questions. I can’t thank them enough.

I inherited this house from my parents and they had c p I for years. It always worked great for them. I had the system put in my name. They came out and checked the system to make sure it was good, replaced low batteries and a cracked sensor. The service guy walked me through getting the app set up and showed me how the panel worked. He answered all my questions thoroughly and explained all the options of I wanted to add any features. Overall I was very happy with the service and i'm happy with the system.
