I am writing this review for multiple reasons. 1st and foremost I had an amazing experience with Clemmons golf and so did my father and everyone else I have had go there. Daniel is professional and a one stop shop for whatever your needs are. He’s also very open about what he can do for you and isn’t someone to upsell you any equipment. His concern is to make you enjoy the game.
Secondly to the previous review that left 1 star I wouldn’t trust that review. I was in the shop and my dad was getting a lesson while the customer demanded Daniel fixed his club. Not to mention Daniel’s next appointment was also in shop waiting for his fitting. The customer said “all he has had is problems” the real issue if you read the previous review was the previous customer’s expectations weren’t communicated and left Daniel set up for failure. Daniel offered multiple solutions but the customer had his mind made up already that he was going to give a bad review regardless of Daniel’s suggestion. All this to say don’t let his review influence you. Go see Daniel! He will take care of you, make things right and support you long after the fitting process as long as you treat him with respect and professionalism. I can’t say that was done in what I experienced today with the previous review. I could go on and on about the ways Daniel has gone above and beyond for me and everyone I have referred to Daniel, but you just need to experience it yourself!

Im a small business owner so the last thing I want to do is leave a bad review for another small business. That being said, this experience has been nothing but a nightmare. I ordered iron heads from Takomo and came to Clemmons to get fitted. The fitting experience was fine. Daniel told me it would take 5 days to get the shafts in and 2 days to put them on. I called him on business day 7 to check on progress and he said “Yeah, I think that’s the shafts you n this box here but I’m not going to be here tomorrow (Friday) through Monday because I have a wedding to go to.” That’s fine. Maybe you could have thought of that when you were estimating time of completion but, okay. Called him the following Thursday and he said he’d have them done the next day. No phone calls from him up to this point. Go in Friday (this is 12 business days now) to pick up my clubs and he had put Tarheel blue grips on them. At no point did he ask what color I wanted but he did look at my entire bag and pull my Gamecocks head covers off of my fairway woods. Even if he didn’t remember that, who picks a random team color for someone’s clubs? When I asked what it was about, he said a grip is a grip. I said, no, if color is not discussed, one would assume they would be black or gray. He said I was in the minority of people who cared what color their grips were. I said I wanted them changed and he said it would take another 5 days to get them in and another 2 days to put them on. When I said I wanted him to refund the money for the grips and the labor to put them on he conveniently found some gray grips in his stock. He then agreed that he would come in the next morning after his t-ball game and put them on. He said they would be done by 1:00. Again, no phone call from him. I called the store at 1:45 and there was no answer (as usual) so I drove up and they were finally ready. After the second time playing with them, I noticed the head of the 6i was separating from the collet. Went to a simulator today to figure out my carries and the head fell off. Drove back over to him and showed him and he said, “you’re too strong”. Never once has this guy taken responsibility for himself. He blames everyone for his shortcomings. He then tells me that it’ll be Saturday before he can get it done. I’ll just go pay someone else to do it. I’m at my end with this guy. Luckily, I was in a sim and not taking a shot from next to the water! Anyway, there are other small businesses that do club fittings in Greenville. I’d stay away from this one.

Had a great experience with Daniel getting fit for irons and a driver. He’s extremely knowledgeable and makes it easy to understand difficult concepts that make a club work for your swing. He helped me find the best possible club for me and was very easy to work with. I will definitely be back for any future club fittings or even lessons.

After a terrible experience with a different shop I stumbled upon Daniel’s shop. I initially went in for an iron fitting about a year ago. Since then I have returned for a driver, wedges, and a putter fitting. Daniel is great at his skill and will work with you to fit you for not what you think you want but what works best for your swing. Daniel is knowledgeable in what he does and takes his time with you. Highly recommend him and his services to anyone wanting to invest in their golf game!

Was very impressed with the knowledge and teaching of Daniel Clemmons. He was recommended by a friend of mine and so glad he did. My wife hit over 100 balls, using different made clubs. The session lasted over two hours. Would highly recommend using Clemmons golf for purchasing golf equipment or lessons.

Daniel Clemmons was fantastic. He scheduled a quick custom fitting for our daughter on a busy Saturday. He is so knowledgeable and has a true passion for what he does. The whole process was so interesting and educational - we are so excited to get her new clubs.

Mr. Clemmons was extremely knowledgeable and fantastic in his overall utilization of his s knowledge.First, he took plenty of time and assessing where I was with my current set of clubs. As a part of that, he assessed my wedges, my irons, and my woods.Second, we ascertained that my wedges were worn and needed to be replaced, my irons were fine, but the chefs needed to be replaced, and finally that my woods were were fine and needed no changes.The resolution was to replace my wedges, change my shelves, and do nothing with my words. Because we made no changes to my words he did not even charge me for a wood fitting.I was more than pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Mr. Clemmons for anybody considering a fitting. He did a great job of meeting me where I was with my current skills and abilities, and only tried to enhance what was already there, and not completely change me. I highly recommend him

Had an iron and wedge fitting today and it was an excellent experience. Spent hours going through different club heads and shafts finding the best fit for my swing. Great prices. Highly recommend. Will be coming here for my woods next.
