This store is a great representation of what a small business should be. I found out that 3 generations of family all work inside the store on a daily basis. My family and I were very pleased with our purchased fabrics and were treated with the upmost respect and class. Claire Penuel was a rock-star in helping my family pick out items that made our home look classy but inviting. HIGHLY IMPRESSED and WILL SHOP HERE AGAIN!!

I knew the instant we opened the door I would leave with something. It was true too! There are so many wonderful fabrics and trims that you need to know what you want to do. At least a general idea. If not, they will help you! What a great experience.

Based on my experience living in this area for 8 months it's generally a very friendly area; that's why I'm so shocked that I've been in this store 3 times and NEVER have I been spoken to by any of the three staff members. Last week each of them walked by me and never acknowledged me & since there were no other customers in the store it wasnt because they were too busy. Never a hello, good bye, may I help you....never a word. I'll do my fabric shopping at West End Fabrics where I usually find what I want and the two women there acknowledge me.

I found the perfect fabric I was looking for. They have a GREAT selection!! Also found a great lamp on sale. Their housewares are beautiful too. TBH I really just felt the need to throw some weight into the reviews since a previous reviewer is so vehement in her political views that she would aim to further hurt a small, privately owned business ... set literally across the street from a private Christian college. PS - I enjoyed the music and will be back to buy fabric for 8 chairs!
