“Ok so I tried to rent from here .... Great place and people .....but just one question for owner.... How am I supposed to get insurance as you said I needed to rent a vehicle when I don't have a vehicle if I'm not mistaken do you all not have your own that can be purchased??? I called around to insurance companies n they were just as confused as I was”

“My car had to go to the shop for a manufacture issue. I called and they got me a car for the next day with a discount bc of my record with them. I dropped off my car and they picked me up to sign papers and make payment. I wasn't extremely happy about the hold of $350, but I do understand... I only kept car for a day and the hold was released within 48hrs of returning the car. They drove me back over to the shop so I could pick up my own car!”
“From booking to returning- Streamline has great communication and this was such a smooth process! We’ve booked twice with streamline (and will definitely again). First time my husband rented a Porsche 911. Second time my husband rented a Porsche Taycan for the day and I came along for a date day/night. For my husband and I- this was just such a top notch experience. “The counter girls were very pleasant and helped me through the process. They always answered the phone and went the extra mile! Shawn, who helped with the insurance paperwork and quality control, is by far the best experience I've ever had with a manager. He even called my insurance company and arranged for me to receive more from the adjuster, who had already closed the claim. Shawn did all this after hurricane Helene, when everything was crazy. He made me feel valued, and understood that I'm not tech savvy. Great person to help seniors!!! Great repair work from the shop. Everything looks brand new!! Thanks guys!!!”

“When I was stressing after another company lost my reservation I was fortunate enough to get a lady named Sandra from Avis in GREENVILLE on the line. She told me that due to the extreme business on the holiday week she couldn’t find me a car- forget it - but call her 8 am the next day and she would work furiously to find me one. At 9am I heard from saying “it’s not the compact you wanted but it’s good on gas and ready to roll”. That kind of service is very rare and very appreciated.”
“I have done business with Elite, and have never had a problem, or a complaint! Not only that the GM is a personal friend of mine, and these negative reviews I have seen on here are obvious lies! I have never known him to treat anybody the way that he is being portrayed in these reviews! It is obvious to me that these people violated the contract in some way, or another, and had to pay the price for their actions, and are providing bad reviews because of it!”
“Reserved me 12 ft box truck 10 days in advance. Everything went well except the website didn't tell me about the $150 deposit. Not the stores fault. The truck was shockingly a really nice truck with only 60k miles. Seems like a lot of you guys reserved online same day and didn't call to confirm. Plan better.”
“Not the greatest, but most certainly not the worst. You do need to ensure that whatever you agree upon at time of rental pick up is noted somewhere on the agmt paper they hand to you - maybe even the name of the agent as well. They are reasonable and work with you as long as you communicate with them. They don't normally answer the phone when called - most times the call gets routed to the general automated line (possibly due to being busy). Definitely check your receipt before leaving (at drop off). I've had issues at times with extra charges but they addressed it right away and quickly at the location during check out.
Also, keep in mind that if you reserve the vehicle for 4pm (for example) and schedule it for return at same time on the day of drop off, you won't be charged an extra day if you return it on time. However, if you reserve it for drop off at later time, there will be an automatic charge for an extra day even if you drop it off early. Check the reservation carefully before finalizing it. There is a 29 min grace period but they recommend calling anyway if you will be late.
Knowing these tidbits ahead of time may save many from headaches, hopefully.”
