Before renting from this company, be advised that reserving online will result in a full charge immediately. When you arrive with the same card you used online (& matching drivers license), they will do a credit check & will NOT accept the major bank card you used online if you have a "low" Equifax rating. Not sure what they consider "low" but you will NOT be given a refund for the online reservation & might be charged a "cancelation fee". They will expect you to have a major credit card (+ $200 deposit). No bank cards accepted.Really poor experience & considering they charged my VISA bank card online, maybe they should include more information before debiting accounts.ALSO, instead of the desk clerk canceling my reservation, I was given a brochure with an 800 number to cancel it myself. Will not be using this company in the future. Going with Enterprise instead.

Similar to what another review reported recently, we made a reservation online for a moving truck that went through without problems but then no truck is available on the day I was supposed to pick it up. No alternative was offered either. In our case we had planned our weekend around a move and not to have the truck is a disaster. Not sure Budget realizes that. My entire weekend and the next one (for the move that was planned this weekend) are ruined because of this.

Despite having made a reservation and paying for the reservation in its entirety there was not a full-size vehicle available at the time I should’ve been picking up a rental. I was supposed to have been able to pick up the rental at 4:00pm. However I was merely told the vehicle wasn’t ready and then told around 5:00pm more rental options would be arriving in an hour which is the time the business closes. I was renting the vehicle for a family vacation. I was offered a pick up truck and Honda Civic which are both extremely ridiculous options given the circumstances. There was not a sincere effort to make things right. So I am now without a rental for family vacation.

Came here cause my parents always rented with them and never had issues.Great customer service. Made my reservation online, paid for a 5 seat SUV. Received one with 3rd row seating for the same price which was great. Checked in online so it literally only took 2 minutes to receive the keys. Will be back for my next roadtrip ?

Customer service at this location was just fine. The windows in my rental looked like a five year old took a dirty towel and attempted to clean the windows. I returned my vehicle early and was routed to their customer service number for a refund for two days. First call the representative we as very rude and would not give me his name or transfer me to another representative. So I called back and got another representative that was much better. They offered me a $40 credit towards the next rental. When the price for two days was around $120. They were cheaper than anywhere else to rent a car but trust me cheaper isn't better. I WILL NEVER rent a car from them again. If you have no issues you are fine. But we can't predict the future so I wouldn't take a chance. Every vehicle on the lot had damage to it. Poor quality cars and the worst customer service I've ever seen.

Terrible customer service. Rented twice from budget at the Greenville airport. First time, they didn’t have the class of car we rented. Worse the second time - they had a line of people and no cars ready. Epically slow process to bring cars from some other location one by one….. Terrible. Don’t rent here!!!

I was returning a vehicle to this location, and they close at 2 PM on Saturdays. GPS had me pulling up right at 2 PM, so I called when I was about five minutes away to see if there was a chance anyone would still be there. They were ready to close, but an employee was kind enough to wait and met me out front to grab my keys so that my return would be on time. Thanks!!

Booked a car far in advance. Get to the airport and NO CAR. Waited over an hour to get a car that was rushed to be cleaned. Customer service was horrible, no apologies nothing. This place is literally the worst.

They gave me a mini van even though I reserved a sedan. They called me 30 minutes before my pickup to inform me of this like I really had any other option than to take the minivan at that point since it was the very last minute. The low tire pressure light came on shortly after picking up the van. I put air in the tire. Shortly thereafter the low tire pressure light came on for another tire. After reaching my destination the tire slowly went flat over a couple of days. I then called Budget roadside assistance. The best option ended up being for them to bring another rental. A couple of weeks later I receive a letter in the mail indicating that I'm being charged $200 for the roadside assistance. At no time during my conversation with the representative was I advised that I was being charged, otherwise I would've used the roadside assistance that I already pay for through my insurance company. Luckily I recorded the conversation and had that as proof that I wasn't informed that I was being charged. If I didn't have the recording I'm sure they would've said I was a liar, and I would've been stuck with the charge. Make sure that Budget is your last resort for a car rental.
