some amazing artists are showcased here and the staff is one of the friendliest I've ever seen, the man named Pat (I think) showed us around and was very outgoing

Love the art here. Found this piece for an amazing price and something about that red hot hair balloon makes me fall in love each time I see it.

Beautiful art and beautiful people, everyone was so nice and we got to take our Chihuahua's in with us. Loved it and we will be back to buy art for ourselves and our clients

Nice collection of art of all types - you could definitely find a few things here! Most of the original art was way out of my price range, but there were several mixed media pieces under $100 - I bought two! The lowest price I saw for an original was $40. And of course there's plenty of prints to be had for reasonable, but even the budget-conscious art collector prefers to buy originals whenever possible. OF NOTE: I forget the name of the artist, but there's several "shattered glass" pieces that are simply stunning. It looks like a broken glass pane that's been sandwiched between two whole panes of glass - glass is colored to resemble abstract landscapes - & the whole is framed in what looks like a sturdy homemade wooden frame. The effect is a "sparkly impressionism" that changes with the light as you move. Just breathtaking. ALSO OF NOTE: There's another artist in the small room who does silky smooth, slightly blurry, impressionistic landscape paintings in low light with a reflected water feature that are very impressive. They "glow"! (In a manner of speaking.) Personally, I was infatuated with the work of the two ladies doing mostly mixed media - the subject matter is a touch more feminine & of course we tend to like bright colors! There was also an African American artist - also a musician, I'm told - who does some interesting primitive/tribal type work, but I didn't see anything I could afford. (Artists should do work in all price ranges in order to consistently sell, imo.) Nice little gallery & the artist/proprietors are friendly & willing to answer questions. And this is where I was informed by such that there are 2 million tourists who came to Greenville this weekend specifically in order to see the solar eclipse (on Monday) & so that's why Greenville is "hopping" on a Sunday.
