I have used this company two times now after I was referred to them by a very skilled seamstress. Once they made custom cushions for complicated chairs that were identical but slightly off in dimensions. The second time they helped me pick out the fabric to recover antique chairs in order to blend with my master bedroom re-do.. The man who does the recovering of furniture is an absolute magician. His work is flawless. The lady who made my cushions did an incredible job too. My new cushions brought my enclosed patio to life. I highly recommend this company to help you select Fabrics, to custom make cushions for you, and to upholster precious pieces of furniture. What they do is a lost art. You will be so excited that you found them. Very accommodating and customer service oriented. Very reasonably priced too.

This is the best place for reupholstery!! They reupholstered my wing back chair and it honestly looks better than when the chair was new! AND their prices are incredibly reasonable compared to other quotes I got. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

We chose them to make all new cushions for our outdoor recliners. It was a very complex job and it was done perfectly. Aaron and Celia were very helpful in choosing the right size cushions. If we ever have upholstery needs in the future,this is where we will go.

Aaron and staff saved the day! I was promised a recovered glider/ottoman from Arnold and the Lamb FIVE months ago. Week after week, I’d check in and was told next week, next week. I remained patient until yesterday. When I arrived at the other business, my chair was completely broken down, but nothing was even started on it, so I loaded that baby up and took it to Aaron. He was on it. It will be ready by August AND the quote was even little cheaper. Thank you so very much for fixing such a mess!

Stay away. They lie about how much fabric is needed so you’ll buy more and then don’t accept returns. It’s a racket !!

I wanted to design curtains for my new classroom and my first stop was A Smart Fabric. Wow, what a professional and helpful team. Aaron the owner was welcoming, Wayne helped me select fabric, and Sissy in the second building helped me design the curtains and will be making a matching over size floor pillow to match. All will produce a highly cool reading nook and discovery area for my math classroom. Huge thank you. Great help is extremely hard to find these days. This company is highly organized and very creative. When my products are complete, I will be happy to post pictures.

We bought too much fabric because we were told that we needed it. Tried to return the fabric that we didn’t need but would not let’s us return. Gave a 2 star because that is bad customer service in my opinion!

A Smart Fabric is a hidden gem! Their upholstery work is excellent and reasonably priced. You will wait a bit to have a piece reupholstered but it is worth it. We enjoy checking out the fabric in the front building. The showroom in the rear is a great find. Having been in the custom tablecloth business some years ago, we are happy to find such a selection. They made unique pillows for our sofa which always receive compliments from guests. They also cut and sold us the cushion foam for our deck furniture at a reasonable price. A great place to shop.

Aaron and his staff are exceptional! They took two sofas we acquired at a thrift shop and transformed them into stunning pieces of furniture. The chairs we recovered for our living room look remarkable. The workmanship, professional knowledge and service of the staff are worth every cent invested. These folks breath new life into old, worn, and forgotten pieces.
