I’m from Graniteville and have never been. I wanted to try it this year and went for it. We waited an hour for parking. No biggie, I expected this. But there was ANOTHER 45 minute to an hour long wait for a hayride we had to go on to walk the rest of the way through. In all the Christmas light events I’ve been to, there was always an option to hayride or walk. After waiting an hour in the car, my 4 year old was ready to see the lights. Everyone was super friendly and the parking situation was handled smoothly, but not to have an option to walk really took the fun out of it for me. We ended up leaving and did t go through the lights. 2 other couples left the same time we did when they heard we had to go on the hayride.
