Went to Pit Stop for an oil change this morning was quoted $88.99 by a very rude service writer. There were two signs advertising oil types, neither were Kendall which I was told they use. When I questioned the service attendant I found they charge the same for bulk oil and Mobile1. I stated then I want Mobile1 versus Kendall. They gladly changed my oil to Mobile 1. When I went to pay my bill it was now $95 because my car, like most had a splash pan. There service writer needs more training. I will not be back.?

Went in here to inquire about replacing my Valve Cover gasket. I talked to some child looking man with glasses and when I told him I had already bought the valve cover gasket and just needed it installed, he said we don't use your parts, you can only use our parts. What that generally means is they want to sell you the part and they want to mark it up 1000x. Horrible way to do buisness.

Heard many good things about Pit Stop so I stopped in to get an oil change. Was greeted in the parking lot and about twenty minutes later it was done!! Will be back to have some other maintenance done.

Nice folks, quick service on oil change, but ridiculously high-pricing on service work. I hate to leave a review like this but the (estimate) bill they gave me was preposterous. If I didn't know better I would have wasted thousands of dollars for simple maintenance. I say simple in the regards that any professional mechanic can replace brake pads and ball joints. The estimate (attached) was for $3250 dollars!
How ridiculously overpriced is this? Good quality parts from a local parts store add up to $500 and this entire job takes a mechanic (with a few months of experience) a few hours to do.
To be fair it is not just Pit Stop, I've seen this type of (extreme-pricing) from other repair shops so I post this to try and help others make sure to call around and save money. I called a friend and he charged a few hundred for labor!

Don't bother going here.
Called in advance to ask if they'd work on an older car(87 Fiero GT) that just needed an oil change and Radiator fluid replacement and was told "Yes, we do, and we hsce your oil filter)
Got there and let him kno the car was starting to get hot and he says "I'll have to see if they want to work on that, we don't usually work on older vehicles."
He took my info and had me wait there for 15 minutes in the blistering heat in the parking lot while I watched him and others just go up to a number of customers who pulled up and grab their cars.
I ended up having to just leave and drive my vehicle (that was in a potentially dangerous situation) to a different shop 2 miles down st. James James.
They didn't even have the basic level of customer service to tell me they didn't want to work on it.
I hope ya'll go out of business and no one there finds jobs anywhere else..

I've been doing business with The Pit Stop Service Center since just after they opened up. I've always been impressed by the quality of work conducted by each technician employed there. From Clint the service writer to David the owner. They're all a great bunch. I'll not trust my automobiles with anyone else.

Have been going to Pit Stop for over a decade. Love these guys. Service is fast, quality work, and friendly. Waiting room is comfortable, and the shop is conveniently located near a lot of small shops and food places.

I drove into the parking lot of Pit Stop when it opened. I told the man that I was seeing a light on my dash, indicating low tire pressure. The technicians immediately went to work on it. I was out of there in 20 minutes. The price was very reasonable too.

I just called and talked to the most unprofessional person, when I called for prices on tires. I could fell the disgust in his voice that I was taking up his time. I gave him the numbers of the size of the tire I needed and I'm not a dumb woman about anything to do with cars. He stated I need to know all the numbers ma'am maybe you need to call your husband. I gave him 235/55R17 and yes I know there are different types of tires but that is the size. It is sad that in this day and age that people have the worst customer service.
