Overall - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Taste - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Portion - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Staff - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We got the Oxtail, Rasta Pasta, & Jerk Chicken to-go.? The pasta settled in the container by the time we got home to take the pics and we ate it as soon as we mixed it up, but TRUST US, it was TO DIE FOR. ?

Let me preface this with the fact that I travel for work. I love curried goat. It was my last night in town and I had not had the opportunity to go out for food. I got off of work later than expected, called Mini Mart up for a pick up, and they were so accommodating in letting me place an order. The food was incredible and the staff was so nice. 10/10 would 100% recommend.

I was impressed by the selection of caribbean grocery that's predominantly imported. Food was good and came out piping hot. Atmosphere needs work that's the only negative. Price is well worth it!

Ordered the oxtail dinner with plantains, rice and peas and Mac and cheese. When I picked up the order the plantains were left out so I had to go back to the restaurant for the plantains. Once I did that and got back home I opened the plate and it looked good but it did not taste good. The oxtails were a little tough and the plantains (the 2 they gave me when I returned) had a moldy looking green stripe on them. Needless to say I didn't eat them. Best part of the plate were the rice and peas. Definitely not satisfied for the $27 I paid for this plate.

Great food, and great service! The Caribbean grocery has all your island needs. The cuisine is very great from the oxtail, curry goat & jerk chicken!! The curry chicken is very underrated imo! 10/10, would recommend!

Amazing jerk chicken always fresh off the grill, every type of Jamaican patty starting from spinach and cheese all the way to beef and cheese, also a great array of drinks. Feels like home ????!!

I read the reviews and really wanted to like the food. I ordered the Rasta Pasta w/Oxtails.Let me say what was good first. The food was hot (temperature wise) and the wait time for delivery was good. (Uber Eats).……The food arrived and I was super excited. Opened the carton and the appearance, & smell of the food, was very lackluster. As you can see in the pics I’ve provided, thr were a few dry, small old looking oxtails. The oxtails & pasta wasn’t really seasoned, EXCEPT for a large amount of salt. Thr was not a hint of any Jamaican or Caribbean seasoning. The food was not enjoyable at all. After a few bites, I gave up trying because even though I’d ordered as soon as the restaurant had opened, it was apparent that the food wasn’t fresh. Thr also wasn’t any gravy on the meat, so each small oxtail was dry meat with fat. The Rasta Pasta looked amazing. The taste not so much. The only seasoning that I could taste was a heavy dose of salt.

Oxtail Dinner (peas/rice, cabbage, plantain,) was wonderful. Fresh, flavorful, and nice portions of everything. I will recommend and eat there again for certain?

Well, what can I say about this store and restaurant. We went there to get dinner. This place was recommended by a friend. We got 2 plates of oxtail, rice and peas, and some cabbage. We barely got any oxtail. The first picture shows the oxtail place for 18 dollars. The third picture shows what we got in two plates of oxtail. We got more bones than anything. The rice and cabbage were okay, nothing to brag about. I was really looking for that rich taste of Jamaica season. I didn't find it here. Maybe next time.

I ordered the curry chicken with white rice. 2 j*** Pattie’s and Mac and cheese… the Mac n Cheese is trash not eating it… the Pattie’s are hard and not worth it. The curry is infused with pepper corn… Caribbean Delight and Reggae Grill are the realest authentic dishes.

Small Caribbean grocery store - the people that work in this store are from the Caribbean and all very helpful when I asked questions about the food items sold there.You can get things such as jerk seasonings, fresh Irish moss, soursop, and many other items used in the Caribbean culture.On the other side of the grocery store , soon as you walk in, is a small restaurant that has meals that are well known in Jamaica.I stopped in to pick up an oxtail meal plate for dinner. We have had it many times before and it is always great.The food was good today also. I feel it is one of the best Jamaican places in the Charleston area.Accessible parking is available .
