Michelle and Lamda are the sweetest! Lamda cut my hair perfectly she really steered me in the right direction and it turned out amazing. Michelle and Lamda made the atmosphere so fun and casual I will be coming back regularly for sure! I would be happy to get a cut from either one of them any day.

I saw good reviews so i wanted to try this salon. Came in with box dye in my hair from three months ago which she HATED. I don't have experience with getting professional hair color design (it was my first time) and I told her that. So i showed her what I wanted originally (balayage) which she told me was impossible. I was okay and didn't push for it, but what i didn't appreciate was she kept roasting me the whole time i was there about how i came in with unrealistic hair request since i box dye it and I'm not rich like kim kardashian or JLO. Later on she did say that its not really impossible to do but will just take several sessions (**info that she shoulve said in the beginning**), but she said i dont own a salon shop like her so it would be very expensive even saying.. "my kids can get their hair colored cause they have a momma that's a hair stylist, i can get that color cause i own the shop... but your momma ain't hairstylist and you're not kim kardashian who can pay for four stylists to do her hair and get it toned every week." I went along with her sarcastic mean jokes cause i needed to survive (just wanted to be done and leave) but I was dragging it the whole time. She told me to pick a different color which i was taking sometime to think cause i didn't have anything else in mind that moment..She assumed I'm still perseverating on the dark grayish color i liked, but I said no im not I just dont know what to get..I felt rushed so I just asked her if she has a book or a color chart of hair that i can pick from that she can do on my hair at that stage cause i didn't have anything in mind or any knowledge of hair color transitions. I was honestly just wanting to be easy for her at that point and even just thinking of getting a full hair color darker to go back to my natural instead of balayage or highlights that she suggested. She didn't offer any options but before i even decide she already started mixing the color for highlights and said to just trust her so i told her that the main thing is that i just dont want it to be orange/brassy. She was rough doing my hair and the other thing is that I even saw her wipe her face with the towel she use to dry my hair. She also burn my scalp blow drying it with very hot setting. She noticed that i flinched and move my head away. She said sorry but proceeded without changing the heat setting.
She said she's been in the field for many years 14yrs+ (if i remember correctly) worked in different salons and got fired many times cause they can't stand her attitude/bluntness. But seemed to not mind her bad reputation cause she said she has customers for her talent. Well the color she pick for my hair is caramel which turn out orangey after she claimed to tone/fix it. I also asked her to make the back of my hair V or atleast U shape cause I had a bad hair cut one week prior coming to her and my hair don't look good with straight cut at ends..she cut few hair strands and claimed she fix it and said " well i can only fix one problem at a time, i can't do miracle." Again hitting me with insulting joke. I still left her tip and a smile, but would not come back. One day after my curls were gone, i checked my hair. It was still straight cut at the ends not the U or V shape i requested. I know she might be limited with "fixing" my hair since I just went to get it cut, and I can't attest to her talent like she claim and brag about cause I didn't get the results that I wanted or didn't find the solution i needed. But, Im writing this because I was really traumatized with her mean jokes/comments and the experience I got. I even got teary-eyed at one point felt like being lectured and degraded assuming I can't afford right away before she even discuss the process.
Lamda, your talent might keep you afloat but changing your attitude will help grow your business and keep new. You have yrs of experience and bluntness, which is okay, but I dont appreciate th

Best experience I’ve ever had 10/10 will only be going here for my hair. She brought my muddy nasty greenish brown hair to a gorgeous blondec fixed my awful haircut. She gave me a hair mask to take home so my next appointment my hair will be healthy. Her prices are SO affordable and worth every penny. Will forever be going back. Omg you HAVE to go here. She’s fast and effective.

I loved getting my hair done by Lamda! She’s so communicative with the process and lets you know exactly how much you’ll be charged before she begins. There’s not stranger with her and I immediately trusted her with my hair. She uses all the best products and makes sure you get your moneys worth. This overall took around two and a half hours which was QUICK considering everything she had to do for me and the fact that I have really thick long hair. Overall I’m extremely happy with the results and will be coming back! Please support her small business, she takes such pride in what she does and deserves your money more than your average franchise salon which typically do such a lazy job. I wanted a blonde look with highlights and lowlights. The finished look was stunning and exceeded my expectations. Lamda's coloring is phenomenal and it was money well spent. She would always do my hair before I moved out of the area and even now I can't help but travel 2 hours to her salon just to get the perfect hair.

Im not one to write reviews but when i tell you… I had the best experience at Lée-la’s. The professionalism is unmatched. You can tell that there is a passion for hair at this place. They are thorough and above all very professional. If you are hesitant to schedule an appointment i am here to tell you, you will not regret it at all!

This was a great start from the beginning. I called to ask if they do perms, and the owner, Lamda informed me they do. (I had called numerous places before, and no one would do a perm.) On the day of the appointment, from the moment I walked in, I was greeted and welcomed. The process took two hours and the time went by quickly. Lee-la's is the best talent and price in the business! Since moving to SC 5 years ago, Lamda has taken great care of me and made me feel at home. Her master level hair colorist skills are undeniable! From a cut, to color or Brazilian blow out, I only go to Lee La's.
