“Great place for the price. Hotels in Charleston is very expensive and this place is only about 20 minutes from downtown easy access off the highway. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are adequate and clean. The only thing I had a problem with the bed sheets could be just a little bit thicker. Besides that everything was great.”
“Don't let the surrounding area deter you from booking. This place was fantastic. Wouldn't change anything. Close to lot's of different places.The lounge was so old school and drinks were good. The only complaint about the lounge, was bartender was to busy hanging with friends and regulars that they kind of forgot that people that were staying there would like drink refills.Rooms: Clean and comfortable”

“Husband and I went stayed just one night for a little get away. I am not the biggest fan of hotels. I'd much rather stay in an AirBNB. However this hotel was nice, clean, friendly, and so we're other guest we seen in passing. Alot of times hotels reek of marijuana and very loud guest. There was a young softball traveling team there and it was still pleasant. We never heard guest running the halls or being loud. We would definitely stay here again. They also had great choices available for breakfast.”

“What a great hotel and a great stay! After a diverted flight and arriving 8 hours past when I was scheduled, I was greeted by the kindest front desk employee. Tia helped calm me down and really changed my day around. Then, for the rest of my stay, I had the absolute pleasure of interacting with Tiffany at the front desk as well as the lovely ladies working the breakfast (I regret not getting their names but everyone had a heartfelt good morning and were always willing to help with anything). Honestly, life can be hard and people can be cruel, but it really made me feel good staying here—such a pleasant and sweet vibe. The rooms were nice, big, and clean. The pool is small but I had it to myself most days so it wasn’t bad. Also, it’s really cool that there’s a coliseum arts center right behind with a ton of great performers! Really neat little hotel with the most on point staff.”

“This place is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while. The rooms are clean and gorgeous. Easy access to a convince store.
Someone else complained about how chatty and slow the checkin process was, but I found the friendliness of the staff enduring and while it slowed down the process it made me feel special.
Go eat at the waffle house down the street when you are hungry.”

“Robert, the manager/assist manager was nice at check in and check out. Karen, one of the employees with housekeeping was friendly and very helpful when we needed something. Enjoyed the pool and also the quiet room. This is an older hotel, so you aren’t bothered by other room noise. The bed was update and so comfortable. Also the comforter/sheets were clean. It isn’t fancy but we will definitely go back to this one when visiting Summerville SC.Nearby activities: Walmart, Cracker Barrel, IHop, and plenty of choices for food and necessities right there.”
“For our last trip to the area, we stayed in the nearby Courtyard and were not happy. Even though this is also a Marriot property, we liked it much better. The rooms had the proper ammenities, the breakfast was satisfactory, and the hotel was clean.Rooms: The rooms are big enough for our needs. The kitchen had what we needed.”

“Been here going on 2 weeks and plan on staying until I get a place. Yes the building could ofc use some TLC but it is not horrible. When I checked in the front desk agent was nice. Upon entering my room the only thing for me was the floor and bathtub that could of gotten cleaned a little bit better (I carry my own cleaning supplies regardless of how clean a hotel is). Everyday you get asked if housekeeping is needed (who can complain about that). I havent gotten breakfast yet so I can not speak on that portion. All the ladies from the GM down to housekeeping are very sweet which is a big plus for me. This location is quiet and conveniently located next to all of the stores and restaurants including some in walking distance. Major thing for me is I have NOT seen one roach at all! Im not sure why other people have had that experience and cant speak on them but I have been perfectly fine in my room. One thing I would recommend is putting the mirror on the wall in a different location. If youre looking for something super special go spend your big bucks at the higher priced hotels but if youre looking for a reliable and safe place to stay def try Econo.”

“If it wasn't for the fact that I CANNOT give negative stars and the gentleman working, older man I think John was his name, I wouldn't even waste my time with a review.... this place was absolutely disgusting!!!! I took my sandals off to use bathroom and the floor was sticky and turned my feet black!! I turned sheets back and there were cigarette burns in sheets, blankets and hair in my sheets!!! Not a little BUT A LOT!!! My duvet cover was sticky and full of stains as well. I am sure that this review will be deleted as this seems to be what all the previous reviews were about and then they just stopped getting reviews... seems questionable considering that these rooms are awful!! Wish Choice would reconsider branding this one...”
