Good for an overnight stay. If you have pets there is no grassy area. ( My dog climbed through a fence so she could pee)

This place is advertised as pet friendly. Well it’s not!!! They are only dog friendly which was not posted ANYWHERE! I was rudely told by the man who works during the day that if I wanted to extend my stay I had to get rid of the cat because a cat is not a pet.

This hotel does not look like the pictures on the website. It is in a very poor, ruff area. I did not feel safe at all there. There was mold all around the bottom of the shower stall. The room had a bad smell. It was so bad, we did not stay. We had booked two nights. They would not give us our money back. DO NOT book this hotel without seeing it for your self. One star is too good for them. It is old and not at all like the other Days Inn that I have stayed in other places.Rooms: Smelly and moldSafety: It is in the bad side of town. Houses across the street were falling down. Did not feel safe at all.Food & drinks: Breakfast area did not look like I would eat there.

Arrived at hotel at 7:30pm on Friday, day of booking. Check in time is any time after 2pm. Front desk clerk started to check me in and proceeded to answer his cell phone and carry on a conversation in a foreign language. Once I was a given my room key, I went to the room, opened the door and the bed looked like it was slept in all week, the room smelled horrible. Front desk manager came and looked at room and asked me to come back in 15 minutes. I went to get something to eat and never returned. Booked a room at another hotel that night. Unsatisfying and disgusting!

Great place for the price. Hotels in Charleston is very expensive and this place is only about 20 minutes from downtown easy access off the highway. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are adequate and clean. The only thing I had a problem with the bed sheets could be just a little bit thicker. Besides that everything was great.

I was very shocked to discover there was black mold in the shower they tried to use caulking to cover it up but they didn't do too good of a job I took pictures and those are shown below. Lots of construction going on makes it very hard to enter and exit the property. Parking is only one way so if you're on the other side you do have to go all the way around the back to access the parking. Very limited breakfast is not full like they advertise. Desk clerk was not very helpful at all after reporting not being able to take a shower due to the black mold. Very disappointed for the price that I paid I should have been offered some type of a discount due to the inability of using the shower. Make sure you inspect the room everywhere within the first 10 minutes or there is no refund. I did not notice the shower because it is hidden back behind the corner of the toilet it wasn't until I got in did I discover this hours after check in

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I booked it on line. Paid well over 200. And had to pay in advance. The bathroom was very, very old and dirty. We left early the first morning we stayed there, upon our return that night, no one had come to our room to clean, or to leave clean towels. Not sure if all the rooms are like the one we stayed in, but it was awful. The smell of the room was really bad. We try our best to be good Christian, so we didn't try to give them a hard time. We stayed our two nights, shared our experiences here for others, will never stay at a Days Inn again. And definitely will not be tricked in to paying in advanced. Let me add, he told me that AFTER I gave him my card number. Then, he said he couldn't change it. And on top of that, I saw a service fee on my card, that wasn't told to me. I did manage to get that back on my card.

I just stayed at this hotel a few days ago. It was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. The TV wasn't working, so I called the front desk and they sent an employee in to help me. He tried for 5 minutes to get it working and then gave up and left. So I never had a TV. The rooms all open to the outside. The security latch on my door was broken and didn't work, so I was unable to secure my door during the night. I showed this to the attendant, and he said, "we will have to fix that". Nobody ever came back. The linens on the bed appeared to be soiled. The pillowcases smelt terrible, and the sheets were very wrinkled, as though they had been slept in. I ended up sleeping on the couch with a towel rolled up under my neck as a pillow. At about 5:30am, I could hear walking, talking and other noises in all the rooms around me. It was as though there were no walls at all. When I checked out, I mentioned these issues to the worker at the front desk, and he just sat there with his mouth opened. There was construction going on and my car got dirt all over it. The parking lot surface was gravel with large stones in the gravel. No parking spaces, so vehicles were randomly parked in all directions. I couldn't get out later that night because I was trapped in.I would STONGLY recommend that you do NOT stay at this hotel. It is run very unprofessionally; the rooms do not look at all like the photographs. They are smelly and dirty.Rooms: see commentsSafety: see commentsNoteworthy details: see comments

My non-smoking room reeked of smoke. The smell was so bad I felt sick by the second day.The parking lot consistently had lawn chairs full of smokers late at night. I did not feel comfortable leaving my room after dark. The shower door did not close, because the floor was uneven, so the door would slide downhill and open anytime you tried to shut it. There was water damage to the floor because you couldn't possibly prevent the water from leaking all over. The bathroom ceiling had significant water damage, presumably from a similar issue above. Most things were broken. The lampshades were torn. A lamp had been built into the wall in the exact place the deadbolt sat, so it was impossible to open the deadbolt without getting your hand smashed between the wall and the lamp, and the lamp had been torn beyond repair because of it.The lock to my door did not work reliably. It took 10 minutes for me to get into my room one night, and the lock was only fixed once I met the manager, who was the only kind employee I met. There were minimal toiletries provided. We ran out of toilet paper, and there was one tiny packet of 2-1 conditioning shampoo as far as toiletries went.I was not provided an ice bucket or a do not disturb sign, and went I went to the front desk to ask for both, I received a random dusty lunch tupperware and a door hanger that said something about towels. He was unable to answer any of my questions no matter how I phrased them. During my long weekend, I felt severely unwelcome by the front desk staff, especially the night shift. At 11am, I was waiting in the front lobby for an Uber and was kicked out of the office. A perfectly reasonable hour to want to stand in the only room that didn't reek of smoke.I called before arriving to let the staff know my flight had been delayed and so I would be checking in late, and I was told that that was fine. A different staff member called me mid flight to ask when I was checking in. Both employees could not work outside of their script. When I inquired about potentially being a day late, the man on the phone shut down and gave me either the option of cancelling the trip entirely or speaking to the manager the next day, after the cancellation policy would've lost affect.Housekeeping was ridiculously inconsistent about what hour of the day they showed up. The first day, she arrived while I was sleeping. In her defense, I did not have a do not disturb sign. The door was locked and deadbolted. She knocked. For 3 minutes. When I finally got up and opened the door, it took some convincing to get her to go away. The second day, she did pass us by because I had the door hanger up, but the third day it had fallen to the ground so we received the same incessant knocking at 9am, when check out wasn't until 11. You'd think that there would be a better system for this mess.I will not be returning here.
