“Update 11/20/2023 - I went to the collection center today at about 6pm. Each time I go, I am impressed even more with the kindness and helpfulness of the workers. Today I had the pleasure of being helped out by the yard waste container by a young lady named Chevon (sorry if I spelled the name wrong).If you see the lady with the really long hair, it’s probably her. She is so kind, cheery and helpful. To see someone so happy to be at work, even near the end of her day is amazing. She is the type of worker who should be training new employees. Thank you Lexington County and please tell Chevon thank you. She is appreciated.Original review:I’m proud to say that I’m a Lexington county resident and our tax dollars in the recycling sense are so well managed. Everything in the facility is clearly marked and there are always helpful and knowledgeable staffers on hand if you have a question. I’ve also seen the staff help elderly and disabled residents unload their items into the proper containers. We are blessed to have this center available to us and I’d like thank the county administration for having such a great crew here and ask that they thank each and every employee here personally.We are truly blessed!!!”
