Slow internet with problems all the time....the company also lied and said they never got there equipment back which they did...thank God I asked for a receipt because I already knew they were corrupt. Get a receipt when you return your equipment!!!! They will say they never got it every time!!!! Class action lawsuit could very well happen if enough people keep their receipts it would show the company's corruption and foul intent! Good news other options are moving out into the rural areas! They won't be around much longer!

When your router dies don't expect a new one to be brought out the next day. your bill will not reflect the outage that you're having either.

If I could give zero stars I would. Comporium internet is one step above dial-up. It’s slow, and unreliable, but what other option does a rural homeowner have for internet. We are on the fastest package available for our area and still only getting 8mbps. On good days it struggles to keep up with Netflix and the like. The last comporium technician to run a service call on our router basically said he was sorry about comporiums internet quality and to wait on Carolina Connect. This technician works for comporium, stated their service was garbage and was a Carolina Connect customer himself, now what does that say about comporium as a company and provider? As for me, I just have to deal with comporium for a short while longer because Carolina Connect has already run fiber in front of my house. Just waiting on them to install the drop to run to my house, you better believe I will be switching from outdated comporium technology and service and into the fiber optic world. Oh what a wonderful day that will be.

Was suppose to have internet service set up for this morning. No one showed up. I called at 12:30 and explained the situation. After a short hold the rep said how about tomorrow at 9am. She apologized but that was all. I lost a morning of my life, and a doctors appointment. A class organization would have made some compensation. Poor customer service!

The make a payment button disappeared, called and emailed with a rep. They said they'd take care of it. My business service was cut off - because he didn't do his job. He never called back, he never returned my email. I was doing my due diligence to pay. Once they cut off service, they put a recorded message, "This number is disconnected". Not great for business!!! Should say, "This number is experiencing technical difficulties." Especially because it wasn't our fault. Then they say, your company won't be allowed to pay online for 4 months because you didn't pay on time. Yet, it wasn't may fault I couldn't pay online. HMM. I really wish there was another provider in our area. I would switch instantly.

After 9 years with them I am not believing what this company has turned out to be like. I don’t know how the original owners would feel about what has happened to this company. I thought it was a family started company but the family certainly doesn’t care about how their customers are treated. Through the years the caring customer service people have gone really downhill. 9 years ago they care. Now you are treated like if you don’t like it, find another company. Long story short, I couldn’t take the rude people anymore.

Absolute trash but it's my only option out in the sticks. They started running fiber on my road and stopped before my house so im stuck with slowwww internet. Then they sent some tech out to my house to "update" something on my router and its been even slower ever since. When we called to see what was going on they said I all of a sudden needed to pay extra for a "Static IP address". Ordered that almost 3 weeks ago and havent recieved it yet. They take advantage of the fact that they are many people's only option.If you have other internet available go through somebody else. Unless you enjoy constant buffering, lag and 6 mbps download speeds.

I spoke with someone on chat who said I needed a new box and within minutes of arriving I had my new equipment. Jessica at the front desk was amazing and answered all my questions. I have an IT question and she got someone out front to help me within minutes

Very happy with my internet and the service comporium provides. Realized I had an outage that was no fault of comporiums, they immediately dispatched someone to help and had the problem solved in less than 20 minutes. The service tech was professional and very nice. I've lived a few places and had different service across the country and have been most happy with comporium.

I am giving 2 stars because Tech support was very nice and did all they could . So 12/28/2021 my internet was acting up so I called tech support and they said my system had not been rebooted in over 2 years so they rebooted my system within 12 hours I've lost all internet they sent a work order and for it to be repaired I called to see what kind of time frame I was looking at and the lady in the repair department said she had no idea that was up to the Technicians she could not tell me if it was going to be one day today 4 day 5 day for a problem that was caused by rebooting my system as of right now I'm very dissatisfied cannot get no answers and most people have been rude to me or in my opinion just really don't care with me being super nice as of right now not sure how much longer I want to stay with comporium my son has school work to do for college and like I said we have no internet not happy. I have been a customer for over 4 years.
