Well stopped in this beauty shop the other day that is close to my house to see about making an appointment to see if the beautician there thought she could possibly get the proxide orange out of my blond hair or if it was too soon after it was just shampooed in to try to recolor it since I only have ever had my hair hi lighted by pulling it thru a cap or with foils , but my grandaughter talked me into just shampooing in a blond . BIG MISTAKE ! We have all seen the Pretty Woman movie where the snooty saleswomen wouldn't help her . Well apparently this beauty shop thinks they are on Rodeo Drive in Hollywood because the cashier told me I would have to make an appointment to ask a question . Or I could just sit and wait till one of the beauticians was free . So shorty after that a beautician walked out with the customer she had just finished but instead of this salesgirl , cashier stopping her to say could you answer a question for this woman ? nope didn't stop her from going back into the part where the hair is done the waiting room is separate by all the beauty products for sale . So after I sat for a while longer waiting to see if it was ok to have my hair recolored so soon I said and how much longer do you think I will be waiting to ask a question . Her reply a long time . So needless to say I went to another shop was helped the minute I came in , and given advice to wait about 10 days before making an appointment and to try reverse highlights . Took the hair dresser all of five min to answer my concern and made the appointment with that beauty shop who will be getting my 125.00. So do yourself a favor and pass by this rude snooty beauty shop!

I’ve been going to Stox and co for a few years now. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Customer service is always spot on and they are all so attentive and friendly. April is the best person I’ve ever had do my hair. Not only does she do a fantastic job but makes the few hours spent there so enjoyable. Every time I leave I feel so rejuvenated and relaxed.

I am new to the area and chose Stox and Co. Salon based on reading reviews of quite a few salons in the area. I am so happy I chose this one! I have also been to the Stox Spa at Mingo. I do recommend both!
On first impression, I really like the layout of the salon and its lighting. It enhances the salon experience to be in a bright, clean and welcoming environment. Everyone I interacted with at the salon was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable.
I went into my appointment with a picture of the direction I wanted to take my hair. I also wanted to blend my natural dark roots so I could have my hair grow between without a harsh line of demarcation. I am so appreciative of the time and care that went into achieving the color I wanted. My hair wasn't lifting for the color initially just right due to past color on my hair, but we got it to this beautiful shade, and I love it! It's been a few washes, and the color looks on point. They were also helpful in advising me on product that would be better for me and my fine hair now that I am in a humid environment vs the dry desert. I look forward to returning for my next appointment.

A TRULY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. The people are so friendly and very attentive to your needs. It was my first time getting a body massage and I am so glad my friend recommended this place. The atmosphere was relaxing even in the waiting lounge where they give you treats and water. I sat in a comfy chair when I waited for my fiancé to finish his service and I didn't even feel like I was waiting; just unwinding. The masseuse did a fabulous job. She asked us where we felt the most aches and she focused on those areas. She was so kind even when I forgot to take off some of my accessories. She made me feel comfortable and at peace.Thank you so much Stox & Co.

Prices continue rising exponentially at Stox. Massages were good but definitely not worth what Stox currently charges. Also the rudeness by desk staff at a customer presenting a gift card needs to cease. We have been customers since Stox opened their second location and the staff vary by location (some nicer than others) we’ve found Stox no longer offers stellar service for the high prices they charge. Everything is an expensive add on. Massages were supposed to be an hour, 50 minutes becomes 35-40 here if lucky. Water is the only thing offered in a tiny cup. Never promotions either.

I have enjoyed 4 services now at the Wellness Cottage (Stox & Company) and all were amazing! The Wellness Journey was so relaxing and healing as well as the 90 minute massages! I highly recommend!! I just booked another service! Top knotch!

Samantha T. Was absolutely amazing! I had made an appointment for me and my husband he got a 60 min massage as did I got the mini facial and massage as well. She focused on the areas that i needed and also had some great advise to help. Very classy and professional. The place is so adorable, Bright, Clean and had a little place in front were u can shop for skincare products, some clothes, jewelry & makeup. I highly recommend if you need work done she is your gal. Thanks for such a great experience!

I found Rachel at Stox and Company at Pawleys Island three months after moving here. Just got the best cut and highlights I’ve had in years! She’s just one of those incredibly gifted hairstylists who knows just what to do. She really cares about how your hair makes you feel. Please don’t read this and overbook her—I need her!

Two times I have reached out to Stox & Co. in a panic, and both times they provided me with exactly what I needed. One time I said, "Help! I want someone who is really good with short hair to chop off my hair and make me look amazing! Oh, and I need an appointment today or tomorrow because I leave for Europe in three days." I received a call back immediately; I had an appointment scheduled for the next afternoon; my hair looked amazing! I am very impressed with the professionalism of this salon as well as their dedication to making their clients happy.

Had the best massage of my life today from Michelle at Stox by Mingo at Litchfield. She listened to what I thought my problem areas were and even pointed out a couple areas of tension I wasn’t aware of. Can’t wait to go back!!
