There are 2 Dollar General stores that I know of here in Gaffney, but I prefer this location EVERY time! The store is generally well maintained, has more variety of items in stock, and has much more polite and helpful staff. I can find what I want or need relatively quickly and can check out with little to no waiting most trips. Even though the other store is closer for me to drive to, I'm just going to drive the extra distance to come to this store from now on!

This dollars general is a joke. The young black headed girl has a attitude all the time. She got a attitude with me because the selfCheckout was messing up. And then today she calls the cops because my 3 year old was squeaking a dog toy that my wife was buying. Even though I said what I thought of her. She makes this Dg look trashy. Because she always has a trashy attitude. And I’ve seen it with many people. She will try that with the right person one day.

The dg store in Gaffney SC on old Georgia hwy was closed at 9:30 so that meant that I couldn't make it to another so therfore for them closing I wasn't able to get what I needed and I think that is pretty messed up. I don't think any reason whatsoever that they needed to close 30 min early I would like an explanation. Had 5 other cars in the parking lot so yall lost some money there also .

This is a typical Dollar General store! They pretty much carry the same items as the rest of them. The people here are friendly and helpful. This chain of stores does a really good job of picking people who like dealing with the public. There a more of these stores than I can count in the Gaffney, Chesnee, and Blacksburg S.C. areas. Not kidding you one bit! There is one on ever corner of Cherokee County,S.C. Amazingly most of these places do an incredible amount of business! One would think that this chain has done an over saturation! These stores are strategically placed in locations so that you will pass one if you travel in aforementioned places! This particular one is my go to store for paper products! They seem to keep a larger supply. It would be difficult to rate one store over the other very much because they ( with a few minor exceptions ) are designed in cookie cutter fashion! All in all; this is a good store and I would recommend it to the public! Chances are that when in Cherokee County S.C.you will pass many other Dollars General stores before you find this one. !

Worse dollar general I’ve ever visited it’s always nasty and stuff all over the place not organized at all and they rarely have what you need
