Context: Thanksgiving trip from AL to VA-9 hours. Passenger rear blowout on I85 northbound at about 4:15. We are missing the wheel lock key. They close at 5.
Shawn(hope I spelled that right) answered and went to work asking if a mechanic would stay late while she sent Clay and Justin to pick me and my family up. Jerry, Warren’s grandson, stayed late to start changing the tire.
We had a decision to make. 1 tire, 2 tires or put the spare on. We decided for one in case something else happened. After I’ve paid, Warren comes to let me know it’s all worse than we thought. Out of a genuine fear of safety he showed me that the other three tires were ready to blowout because of increasing splits along the outer wall/tread.
Jerry and another mechanic, whose name I forgot to ask (sorry!), stayed until almost 7 to make sure we were safe to get back on the road. Best 1500 I have ever spent and I couldn’t be more grateful for their team and the culture Warren has built since 2001.
If I could get all our work done on our two vehicles here, I would. Don’t hesitate to trust them. As a former auto repair manager, these people are the real deal.

I will definitely be back. My Tesla had a flat tire and they worked with me to get it replaced. I even decided to replace the other back tire as well. I have two other vehicles at home and will definitely use them in the future for automotive needs on the other two vehicles. Thanks you guys were lifesavers. Also very patient and kind.”
“Had an emergency while passing through Gaffney - car was shuddering, check engine light was flashing, and multiple other lights came on. JE performance took a look right away and figured out the problem (spark plug issue) and had me fixed and ready to go in less than two hours after walking in. Reasonably priced too. Very thankful I went to them!”

“10 stars should be an option for this business. I am writing this review from a hotel room in 3 hours from my home. I was traveling back from North Carolina after helping my wife after the passing of her father recently. On the way home to Georgia my car hydroplaned on the highway during a what appeared to be routine rain. Unfortunately, my car left the highway and went head on into the metal guardrail. I was 3 hours from home and knew no one in the area. The State trooper called Shannon's to tow my car. That is where the true hospitality and way above customer service began. I explained to the driver that my car was packed for the trip back to Georgia and I had no rental due to the time of day and no hotel yet. He explained to his father the owner and without hesitation the owner tried to get me to the nearest car rental office but unfortunately that did not work out. He did not stop there. I was taken back to the lot where they helped me load all my belongings from the suv to his car and they then found me a local hotel and called ahead to confirm availability. And it did not stop there. They drove me and all my bags to the hotel and waited until I had the room secured. Before leaving they told me that if I needed anything to call them and they would be happy to help including taking me to the rental car office the next day. who does that in 2025. Shannon's that who. While I do not live here I would tell anyone who does call Shannon's every time. Thank you for helping a stranger today when I needed it most!”

“I was so impressed by the honesty of the people working there when they just looked at my truck to tell me what was wrong. We usually do our own mechanic work when we can but we had a brake issue with our truck that we couldn't figure out. He drove it for 5 minutes and came back and told me what we needed to do and it was such a simple task. I liked his honesty so much that I went ahead and booked a service on my car. “Dropped off my 2018 Toyota Corolla that was experiencing a clutch/transmission issue. They pulled out the transmission and had me back on the road in less than a week. They replaced a slave cylinder, CV axle and clutch assembly at a completely reasonable price. This was a genuinely good experience which is such a rare thing anymore, I can't speak highly enough about Carolina Transmission.”

“My son's truck was overheating due to a broken fan belt so he pulled off Hwy 85 at the Gaffney exit. Was stranded for hours waiting for AAA to show up. Decided to try to drive into town after finding the The Service Center of Gaffney online. It was late on a Sunday evening and to his surprise there was someone working in the shop. He explained the issue, and the gentleman not only took time to diagnose the problem, but drove my son to a local auto parts store to purchase a belt AND gave him a ride to a hotel. The next day, they repaired the truck – fixed several issues – and the price was very reasonable. Couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience! We really appreciate the top-notch service! You guys saved the day!”
